I'll put this thread back on track.
I've recorded some stuff/songs. the majority are low quality, non-serious recordings I made just messing around. I had a ton more but when my laptop blew up a week ago I lost almost all of them.

Swanky Street:
this is an incomplete, terrible, and rough recording I did to test out my new mic when I first got it. if you listen you can hear a christian radio station my amp picked up near the end.
Word of mouth:
this is my guitar cover of word of mouth by nine miles

. I recorded this when I had a cold and didn't sing loud enough, so the vocals are pretty bad.
Super polar bear:
this is my guitar version of return of the polar bear (reprise) by nine miles. I had like 10 vocal tracks, 10 bass tracks with various effects, and a couple guitar tracks. I don't have any drums so I tapped on my laptop.
No substance jam:
I was jamming to no substance one day. I had fun recording and listening to this.
Hybrid acoustic:
an acoustic version of hybrid rainbow. I was testing out my new mic with my acoustic guitar. I messed up a few times.

Something 4:
I was just messing around on my guitar using a chorus effect.
Something 2:
I like the bass somewhat. it's kind of an ambient song, if there is such a thing.
Something 1:
just messing around. I think this was actually the first song I recorded.
Something 3:
just messing around with the Gverb effect in audacity

. it sounds pretty neat.
Lazer beams:
oh lawd

! One time I came back from a local show drunk and wanted to record a fake hardcore/metal song. it didn't turn out very metal or hardcore so I never completed it. it sound OK I guess.
Guitar trip:
just messing around. I had a semi-sweet bass line that I didn't want to forget so I made it into a song.
Messing around:
just messing around with a cool riff.
Bass something:
just messing around on my bass.
Amazing song:
TURN YOUR VOLUME DOWN! I wanted to make a dis-harmonious song and this is what resulted. it's pretty groovy (I suppose you could call it that).
Ninjas, they're totally sweet:
GREAT SONG

. I made this song back in june 2005. I was a senior in high school and in order to graduate we had to do a year long research project on something of a non-USA origin. I did mine on ninjas

. this was the "multimedia" part of my 45 minute presentation I gave. this was actually the first song I learned to play and sing at the same time. I had an amazing recording of it I did a couple weeks ago, but my laptop blew up and I lost it >:(. this is just a pale recreation of what I had, without vocals. the lyrics go something like "ninjas, they're totally sweet. ninjas, they are real cool." for the majority of the song. the original song I played was just the rhythm in the left ear while I sang.
