Post Death Cab for Cutie
A quick use of the search function seems to indicate that there isn't a thread for this band, so pardon me if I'm mistaken in posting this.

Transatlanticism is my favorite album, but Plans is growing on me a LOT lately, I can't believe I only thought it was "pretty good" when I first heard it. I'm pretty convinced that Gibbard is incapable of making anything that isn't fantastic.

I haven't really heard much by them, but what I've heard was quite beautiful. I'll probably look up some more.

My favorites are 1) The Photo Album, 2) Transatlanticism, and 3) You Can Play These Songs with Chords. I have the new album on my computer, just haven't listened to it completely yet, but I liked what I heard. I haven't been in a DFCF mood for a while. They used to be my favorite. Ben Gibbard is fantastic.

If you guys haven't, check out The Postal Service and All Time Quarterback as well. His side projects, they are.

I highly recommend Transatlanticism as a starting point.
