While I generally dislike arena shows, I've actually had good luck at them getting in the front row a couple of times. And I plan to do so again.  And yea Camio, they should still be prety active in the next year. They're hoping to do shorter, but more frequent tours now. Plus, they're going back to the studio for their next album in November, so I wouldn't be surprised seeing a Summer '09 tour for them. Hopefully then it'll be without Angels and Airwaves.

Re: The Last Show you Went to/Next Show you will Go to Yesterday was the Weezer Madison Square Garden show, and it was truly amazing. Half of the stadium's seats were empty during Tokyo Police Club, but people had started flowing in since A&A played. Then, the place was packed by the time Weezer came out.
They came out with white jump suits played a few songs, then shed those suits to reveal red jump suits. Rivers also jumped on a trampoline a few times and rocked out. The set list was top notch and the crowd definitely added to the experience. During songs like Perfect Situation the whole stadium was singing the chorus "hooo hoo". Also, their performance of TGMTEL was amazing.
Near the end (when the band was offstage) they had a record player with all the lights off except stage lights shining on the player playing Heart Songs. Then Rivers comes out of nowhere and kicks if off the stage. They then started playing "Sliver" by Nirvana and finally ended with Buddy Holly.
Overall, this is one of the best concerts I've ever been to. It definitely rivals the pillows concerts I've been to for first place.

Re: The Last Show you Went to/Next Show you will Go to I heard about that. The encore into Sliver sounds awesome! I can't say I agree with their decision to let Tom DeLonge sing Undone with them, but knowing they played Susanne and Pink Triangle makes me giddy. I cannot wait until next Thursday!
