That's my band page, which, as of now, links directly to the Myspace page.
Listen up!
I like it. Interlude reminds me of something, but I can't figure out what.

Re: Post your songs.
I don't know why but your music reminds me of Modest Mouse. And that's a complement in my books!
The vocals are not excatly to my taste altough there's nothing wrong with them.

Re: Post your songs.
So, my band just recorded an EP. We just received the rough tracks, but we can't put them up on myspace till we get the final copy. It sounds really good to me, but is there anything you guys hear that could be better, sound-wise? Like, vocals too quiet, etc? Just tryin' to figure it out, before he gives us the master-copy. It's our last chance to fix anything, so I wanted to hear what other people thought about it first. You can hear the first two songs of it here: http://myspace.com/easternturkishit's like, ska/hardcore punk. Think along the lines of The Suicide Machines and operation ivy.

http://www.myspace.com/mahounofuusenNew song, The Devil's Quaalude. I put a lot of effort into this, so some criticism and comments are really appreciated.

....Magic Balloon?
I'd probably enjoy it if it actually used real instruments. Fuck MIDIs.
Other than that, it seemed pretty solid and definitely game-worthy.

Re: Post your songs.
What. The whole point is that it's MIDI metal.
That said when I do have enough for an album my friend and I are going to remix it in Cubase. Cause MIDI MP3s burn like shit to CDs.
I remember when i got my hands on my first pillows tab, brand new love song...i didn't know a thing about chords, so i stayed up until about four in the morning, and i had to be at school at seven. I turned on the radio and i heard that my school was closed because of an ice storm, and i played till about five, trying to learn to play faster. I think that's when i figured out i loved the pillows so much. It's that feeling, from intro to end, you know?
Damn. Same with me, except for the schools closed thing. A man can dream of an Ice storm in California. But yeah, I spent a whole night without sleep trying to figure out Hybrid Rainbow. I knew it righ away that it was worth every second.

Re: Post your songs.
Alright, I've got something to post here. I think it's time for me to finally call this song finished, after having initially started on it almost a year and a half ago. The original idea came from me hearing a few seconds of some Autechre song (no, I don't know which one) on a streaming radio station, with some awesomely glitchy drums, being inspired by the sound, and immediately setting off to write a song based on that inspiration. The resulting song is very much my own, though, and it's definitely not a remake or imitation of anything that I know of. It's got some synth sounds that I programmed for it, intricate drum programming, strings, various ethnic-sounding influences, some distorted breaks, and this amazing Boards of Canada-esque synth patch that was programmed by a friend of mine, that comes in around halfway through the song. I <3 that sound and he is totally awesome. (Check him out! http://www.virb.com/tompritchard ) I might end up making some more adjustments to the mixing, especially if Esselalbum 2.0 ever comes to exist, but for now I'm happy with it. Without further adieu, here's Esselfortium - Invis: http://sl4.poned.com/music/newstuff/Invis.mp3Hope you guys enjoy it! :3 Mike
