Not something I put on and listen, but if it magically appeared in my iPod when I put it on shuffle....maybe [/quote] When I first heard the name "Frightened Rabbit" and found out they were from Scotland, I was hoping for some sort of alt/prog/new wave/celtic-folk/synth/metal amalgam, but discovering that they were basically the Scottish equivalent of bands like Neutral Milk Hotel and The Magnetic Fields (along the same subtlety-in-simplicity continuum) was a nice enough surprise. For my part, I followed up my first listen to "Head Rolls Off" with four more consecutive plays to make sure I wasn't blown away the first time for silly reasons. I wasn't. :J _________________This new forum layout is a little disorienting.

After somewhat accidentally watching a beautifully illustrated movie at a party I didn't originally plan on going to just before writing this, now all I seem to be able to conjure in relation to this song are the fleeting images and moments of [i]Byousoku 5 Centimeter[/i] that transcend into tender, irreconcilable longing and snowdrift-melting warmth.
