 good dreams shirt this was annoying, but i finally figured out what it said.
read from right to left, top to bottom. it's the first part of the chorus from good dreams
"wasurerareta boku no yume boku igai no dare ga mireru"

funny, cause i first tried to read it (stupidly) from right to left. but why the heck is it in katakana? ... '^_^

yeah, but because it was in katakana i figured it might be some engrish or some such thing. meh. whatever. but yeah. and did you notice they started using the kanji "makura" which means, literally, "pillow" on their new shirts?

geez.. i spent an hour trying to read the syllables and kept thinking it was in Engrish.. but knowing that its Pillows lyrics sounds much better.

i know what you mean on that musac. it took me like four times of looking at it to think of that. i felt really dumb for not getting it at first. =D

I'm pretty sure that's been their symbol for awhile. Because in Japan thats how you would write out their band name. When i was looking for their CDs in Japan, i couldn't look through the music store for "pillows", i had to look for that symbol.

no. their japanese name is ザ・ピロウズ (za pirouzu). they are filed under ヒ (hi).
this is makura: 枕.

and the makura thing is a pun. because they are literally putting it as a pillow. not the pillows, but a pillow. kind of like want to sleep for being meant to sound like 123456789, and the "swing god gun i need it low demon", as well as that one part in Smile.
I think Yamanaka has a thing for puns.
