This is an awesome topic. I'm not going to include Special CD or Turn Back in mine.
I could see the Special CD, but why not Turn Back? It is technically an album, isn't it?

Anyway, I'mma hafta agree wholeheartedly with The Little Buster on the Special CD. Angel Fish is just awesome on there, and it's really funny because I dislike the version on Living Field.

Living Field - Swinger's Night Club, hell yeah
Please Mr. Lostman - Swanky Street, just barely beating out... the rest of the album
LITTLE BUSTERS - One Life, just barely beating out... the rest of the album
HAPPY BIVOUAC - Last Dinosaur, just barely beating out... the rest of the album
RUNNERS HIGH - Let's See if That's True or Not
FOOL ON THE PLANET - Fool on the Planet, baybee.
Smile - Waiting at the Bus Stop, narrowly edging by Smile
AMAP - Cherry
Thank you, my twilight - Shiroi Natsu..., though TYMT will forever be my ringtone

Post Re: Favorite Song from Every Album
Pantomime: Stand Up And Go - I love the jangly guitar on this song in particular, but it's great all around.

90s My Life: Paris no Josei Marie - One of the pillows' best, I particularly love the chorus.

Moon Gold: Dear, My 'First' Step - This is one of my personal favorites because nobody else seems to notice this song. I worship the incredible pre-chorus, but the whole thing is awesome.

White Incarnation: Tough choice here, but I think I'll go with Ki ni Shitenai yo for the flippin' awesome guitar.

Special CD: Ano Hi to Onaji Sora no Shita de - Another personal favorite, this is one of my favorite pillows songs period. Awesome bass, and a somewhat spacey, jangly sound that evokes images of the beach rather than some grimy British town (I'm looking at you, Morrisey.)

Kool Spice: Kouen ~ Tasogare no Waltz - Jazzy awesomeness, I adore the piano and guitar solo.

Living Field: Girlfriend - One of the best love songs ever, I don't care what anyone else says. Also, one of Sawao's best singing performances.

Please Mr. Lostman: Kanojo wa Kyou - This album is tough to decide, but I think this one's my favorite, due in no small part to the awesome PV. But Sawao's singing and the lyrics are also total win.

Little Busters: One Life - What can I say, it's one of those perfect songs that feels like it almost defines your life. The sweet PV doesn't hurt either. Patricia is a close second, though.

Runners High: Bran-new Lovesong - No complicated explanations here, I just like it. Haha.

Happy Bivouac: Crazy Sunshine - It's one of the pillows' most energetic songs and has one of my favorite guitar solos ever.

Smile: Smile - One of the pillows' more atypical songs, I love the solos in particular.

Thank You, My Twilight: Shiroi Natsu, etc. - What's not to like? Mellow, summer-y nostalgiafest. In a good way, of course! Title track is a close second, though.

Penalty Life: Scar Whispers, etc. - I love it when they do these mournful, depressing sounding songs. Love everything about it.

Turn Back: Bokura no Harei Suisei - Pure awesome, no further descriptions are needed, though I really like the bass.

Good Dreams: Sono Mirai wa Ima - Might be a bit of a Last Dinosaur ripoff, but a good song in its own right.

My Foot: Sayounara Universe - Great song with great pacing.

Wake Up!x3: Scarecrow - I still dig the solo.

LOL at Living Field and weak link in the same sentence.
Well I hate to break it to you but, it's definitely the worst song on that album.

Not that it's bad. It's great, in fact the song is probably better than every pillows song put out in the last three years.

DOOD, don't make me define opinion for you. We're pass that. We're not 10 years old anymore. We know what opinions are. No one likes being told what an opinion is, for we all know what an opinion is. You know. I know. We're very familiar of the concept... you know, of whether or not Native World is a good song or not, even compared with the rest of LF.

Now, since you DO know what an opinion is (don't worry, I'm not being condescending, I KNOW you KNOW what an opinion is, we all do, and it doesn't need to be defined in anyway, I mean, it's pretty much a rule that people know what opinions are, right? It's like common sense. ME AND YOU, YOU AND I, we BOTH know what an opinion is, and how they work when you're comparing favorites with other people, who have DIFFERENT opinions than you, since, you know, we're all different people and have DIFFERING opinions on favorite songs), I'm pretty sure you can see how I think Native World is not only one of the best songs on the LF album, but also one of the pillows' best songs.
Not that it's bad. It's great, in fact the song is probably better than every pillows song put out in the last three years.
In my opinion, saying that Native World is better than My Foot (song), Boat House, Century Creepers, Tokyo Bambi, or a few other songs is LAUGHABLE. Like, totally LOL laughable. Like "WTF is WRONG WITH YOU!?" laughable...

...not that anything is wrong with your view, since you know, we KNOW what opinions are, and my opinion is no better than yours. We both understand that clearly, and it those not need to be stated any more after this post. It's fine that I think Native World wanes in comparison to plenty of the newer stuff we've been given, because it's my opinion, which is completely subjective. It's also fine that you think that Native World is better than anything we've seen in the past 3 years from the pillows... because it's your opinion, and it is completely subjective. No one has a opinion that is better than another person's.

I hope you see what I'm getting at here. I'm not trying to be a Deutsch-bag, I'm just trying to make a point.

Hahaha, I agree. Those are the two that challenged me the most. On Please Mr. Lostman, I was tied between Swanky Street and Kanojo Wa Kyou. On Little Busters, I was tied between One Life, Another Morning, Patricia, That House, Like A Love Song, Nowhere, Hybrid Rainbow, Little Busters...

Wow, Little Busters was a great album. :whoa:

Actually, it evoked the grimy British town for me. I still love it though.

The most effortless pwn of internet history.

But btw I like Climbing on the Roof the least on Living Field, and I didn't even have to think about it. Every other song is gold in my book.

I don't like it that much either, actually. It's probably my least favorite as well.

It's not a bad song, but it's not as good as everything else. Bye Bye Sweet Pain is love.

The Sun that Will Not Rise is my favorite song on Penalty Life.

One of my favorites on the entire discography, actually...

Post Re: Favorite Song from Every Album
Pantomime - Razorlike Blue. There is a lot of energy here. Sometimes I forhget to listen this song and every time I remember I wonder how I could've forget a song like this.

90's My Life - 90's My Life. This is such a great song. Nothing much more to say about it. Generally I like Sawao's vocals more in the newer stuff, but in this era there were certain chilly and swingy feeling that then was replaced with more ...emotion. I'm quite bad analyzing music, really. :D

Moon Gold - Want To Sleep For... makes me want to fool around.

White Incarnation - Colorful Pumpkin Fields. This was a hard choice to make. Everything in this song just works. Especially the transition from solo to verse is something that makes me smile every time I hear it.

Kool Spice - Naked Shuffle. Just for badassness.

Living Field - Sunday.

Please Mr. Lostman - Kanojo Wa Kyou. Very hard pick, but the solo, goddamn... Nothing wrong with this piece. One of my overall favourites, too.

Little Busters - Hybrid Rainbow. One of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard. Probably the third Pillows song I fell in love with - only behind One Life and Instant Music.

Runners High - Bran new Lovesong.

Happy Bivouac - Funny Bunny, just because this was my favourite song for so long time. I have probably never skipped this song if listening just random songs...

Fool on the Planet, greatest hits album, I know, but FOTP needs to be mentioned. My song is your song.

Smile - Maybe My favourite album. Smile track is probably my favourite song right now, or at least was like a month ago.

Thank You, My Twilight - Winona is incredible. Altough it seems unfair not to mention TYMT...

Penalty Life - So much great songs here! Moon Margaret! :shred:

Turn Back - How can I live without mentioning Our Halley's Comet?

Good Dreams - Tenshi Mitai Ni Kimi Wa Tatteta. Weird choice, huh? This album has kinda grown on me, altough many people seem to think that this is not a very good album.

My Foot - My Foot is one of my favourites, too. That song is very near being perfect, very near indeed...

Wake Up! Wake Up! Wake Up - I've always thought this as a good album as a whole, but with no killer track. Guess I'll say Pleasure Song.

edit: I wasn't going to include Another Morning, Another Pillows, but Skeleton Liar is worth a mention.

Post Re: Favorite Song from Every Album Utaeba, I Think It'll Rain...
Pantomime - Energy: Who can't love this song? That chorus is ust amazing.

90s My Life - 90's My Life: Everything makes it amazing, from the awesome awesome opening to the very cool ending. The Na na nana's get me every time...

MOON GOLD - Hello Girl: It's close, I love a lot of stuff on this album...You Are, Ame ni Utaeba, I think it'll rain...all great stuff, but the intro and chorus make tihs song a winnar.

White Incarnation - Bokura Hareii no Suisei....beat out Tonight and Konojo wa Shistua by a bit. The drumming really gets me in the intro. It's a tough call whether this or the remake is better...

SPECIAL CD-Kimi to Futari: This is a great song. I loved it more than the other two ever since I heard it. It finished out the album and made it what it is imo.

KOOL SPICE - Naked Shuffle: Not too tough of a call....this isn't really my favorite album, but I still love it.

Living Field - Bye Bye Sweet Pain: Amazing song. Reminds me of the hustle or something. Really great from the catchy sayonara to the indistinctable line that I always thought said 'my little penis'.

Please Mr. Lostman - Kanojo wa Kyou, just barely beating out... the rest of the album

LITTLE BUSTERS - One Life, just barely beating out... the rest of the album

HAPPY BIVOUAC - Last Dinosaur, just barely beating out... the rest of the album

RUNNERS HIGH - Shit! Let's See if That's True or Not? This is a really tough call.

FOOL ON THE PLANET - Fool on the Planet, naturally.

Smile - Kono yo no Hate Made, oh I suppose. I really like a lot of songs offa smile, but this one takes the cake,

AMAP - She's Perfect: Opens up the album like a winner. though Subhuman and Skeleton Riar is amazing.

Thank you, my twilight - FUCK. No way I can choose. *ROBOTMAN??????*

Penalty Life - Probably Freebee Honey, though it could possibly be beaten by Scar Whispers and The Sun that Will not Rise.

GOOD DREAMS - Gonna have to go with Sono Mirai wa Ima.

90's My Life returns - the same

MY FOOT - Gonna have to go with My Foot, though My Girl and Sayonara Universe are very close!!!

Wake up!x3 - Century Creeper (F'n ACE all the way. I gazmed when I heard this blaring in front of me in NY, This song is ust f'n win all over the place. If I had a dog, I'd name it f'n Century Creeper, that's how f'n win this f'n song f'n is.
