My thoughts on the single...

New Animal is good, though it does little to stand out among even the recent pillows singles. Comparing it to Nonfiction, the Third Eye, and Scarecrow, it seems a bit boring to me. A bit of a letdown after the innovation of Tokyo Bambi, but still a lot better than Ladybird Girl.

Finger Post of Magic is the most interesting track to me. Though the voices in the chants are kind of strange sounding, there is a lot of cool bass and a nice vocal melody. The guitar solo is also a lot cooler than a lot of the recent ones.

Mr. Droopy is instantly forgettable and lame. And I listened to it while having curry udon and Asahi Super Dry for dinner, so that should say something about how bad it sucks.

but I love curry udon.

I can't keep track of just how many times since the NY show (and especially the last couple weeks) I've caught myself quietly going "baa ba ba ba ba, ba ba ba" to myself.

Well, New Animal flew down to #15 on Oricon today...

They show the crowd I was in at Anime Boston at one point. You can't see me in particular, but I know I was there, and that gives me special fuzzies inside.

[edit] Electric Ray's #'s 11 and 12 are corrupted.

Were the FLAC format #11 & #12 corrupted? If not, you could open those in a program like Adium (does iTunes do it?) and convert to mp3 from there. Or if necessary, FLAC to wav/AIFF, to mp3.

Anyone?
