Disc 1 of the Red Album has been leaked. You can probably get it on torrents. My friend has it but I refuse to listen yet.
Sweet. I can probably wait though. That and I hardly use torrents anymore.

Re: Weezer
The Greatest Man that Ever Lived has got to be one of the greatest songs that Weezer has ever created. Other than that I found Heart Songs to be great. I like how he sings about all his musical influences. The last verse of that song is powerful; I love the buildup.

Re: Weezer
Wow, that's one of the best Weezer vids ever! I've always liked how their videos have weird/cool concepts, and this one is definitely one of the most unique. The Red Album is shaping up to be an amazing piece of work.

I actually kinda take back what I said. I mean, it's still not my favorite lyrics to the song, but put in the video, it's just fun

Re: Weezer
I hope I like the album. With pretty much everything they've done since the blue album, I like the single, maybe the first couple songs on the album, but I never seem to care for the rest of it. I was really disappointed with Make Believe, I freaking love Perfect Situation but the rest of the album I don't even know if I listened to more than once.

Especially Across the Sea, The Good Life, and Falling for You. That album is on par, if not better than the Blue Album itself. But yea, the new vid, friggin awesome. It's not as good as the vods for Buddy Holly and Keep Fishin, but it's up there, if not just for Pat's face being on the crazy praire dog! I've held out listening to the leak though, except for The Greatest Man That Ever Lived. That song is friggin awesome. I can only hope the rest of the album can live up to the hype, but I'll guess we'll know in about a week.

Re: Weezer
I forgot to mention that I do like the bulk of Pinkerton.
I listened to a few of the leaked songs. I think I'll like this album more than the last few, but I have a nagging feeling that it'll again turn into an album where I dig the first few songs and never really listen to the others...

Re: Weezer
I'm pretty psyched. From what I've heard it sounds really good, nothing like Make Believe. It's a bit more like their old stuff plus a little pop, definitely worth my money.

Re: Weezer
So the album isn't spectacular, but it's definitely better than, oh, everything since The Green Album. Including the Green Album.
But The Greatest Man That Ever Lived is like the song of the decade.
