I've recently been listening to Metallica......... a LOT!!!!!!
Been wanting to play some thrash music myself, but I'm not that good :P My arm gets tired after 30 minutes or shredding :(
Also some Ajikan, Beat Crusaders, and Dir en Grey.

I've been hearing blink 182. I bought the self-titled album. And I liked it. There are some great songs in it. I like Easy Target and the one where Robert Smith plays. The lead singer of the cure :P

I listened to all the small things the other day and instantly bought the album for it :D Enema of the state i presume. I will be buying their other work. I also been hearing the calling, and some david bowie. I heard rock and roll suicide. And i love how it starts of slow then moves up more in sound and his voice. I will be buying some of his early work in the next days. My brother said that his later work is a little meh. But changes alot. :)

Yeah, I liked Blink's latest a lot too.

I was in Chicago over the past weekend and picked up Bump of Chicken's Orbital Period while I was there. I've pretty much been listening to that for the past couple days. Looks like I had all the singles already from this CD already though, lol(Supernova, Hana no na, Mayday, Karma). My favorite track so far is "arrows". Starts out nice and easy, then builds into slow and epic, which is one of the things that I like so much about their music.

Oh, one other thing about this CD. The lyrics booklet is also a storybook! It tells the story of a selfish king. Kind of charming, in its own way. I found a translation online, I'll post it if anyone is interested.

Orbital Period was good, I'm glad they finally released it (took them so freaking long, lol).

You heard the remade version of Glass Blues from I think the Mayday single? That was great.

Been listening to the band apart's new album a lot. It's good, but not really as fantastic as alfred and cavity. It's hard to be disappointed with it though.

Totally unrelated (and extremely late): new forum is awesome. It feels very Web 2.0-ish.

Yeah, I actually wasn't completely aware of the delay until I looked carefully at all the singles for this CD. There's quite a few...four I think? Solid CD nonetheless. And yeah, I did hear the remake, and it sounded great.

In between bouts of searing and abrasive metal, I sometimes have to refresh myself with absurdly superficial-yet-endearing pop music.

Bellatrix. It's All True.
"Jediwannabe"
The song title says it all.

APRILS. SPACE DREAM BATHROOM.
"Kirameki Moon Diver"
The song title says it all.

little by little. Sweet Noodle Pop. Kimi Monogatari (single).
"EDEN"
"Ninja Kids (Album Mix)"
"Sweet Noodle Pop"
Sensing a trend, the song titles once again say it all.

OLIVIA. The Cloudy Dreamer.
"WISH (English ver.)"
"a little pain"
Still not much to say, really, except that I would like a lot more J-pop singers if they sounded like OLIVIA. "Listen closely," she sings, and so I listen, open-hearted and waiting... <3
