The track list just radiates awesomeness. I'm especially intrigued by That's a wonderful world (if it means what I think it does then it shall be nothing but win).

"Tokyo Zombie (The knock came at dead of night)" sounds brilliant.

Re: Pied Piper tracklist
Frankly, I don't mind at all. Of the 10 songs on Please Mr. Lostman, 4 were single tracks, but nobody would dare think to bitch about that. Get over it.

Re: Pied Piper tracklist
Hey guys, I'm new here, but I've been using this site for pillows info for a long time.
Anyway, I'm hyped for this new album, and though it does have 4 songs that have been previously released, I liked all of those songs, and hope they will make good additions to the album.
As far as the new tracks go, I think Last Holiday and Purple Apple sound really awesome, and the rest sound great as well.

Answer:
That's what happened when Please Mr. Lostman and Little Busters was released.
Yes, but can you honestly say you and Mare were following the pillows at the time PML and LB were released? Were you hotly following Strange Chameleon, Swanky Street, and Trip Dancer, did you watch the PVs before the albums came out, did you buy the singles, did you listen to them over and over again before you listened to them on the album? I'm simply saying it's disappointing that there aren't 9 or even 10 brand new tracks on this album. I mean, I guess it's made up for by the pillows' quick rate of putting music out, and by the two new tracks on the Delicious Label Comp.... And no, I'm not saying they shouldn't have included TB, LB, and NA (The inclusion of Across the Metropolis is sort of weird though..), I actually expected it. Nevertheless, because of the the high price of Japanese albums, there's a slight bitterness in knowing 4/11 tracks are going to be "old news" for me - not necessarily "bad news", no, they're good songs...but...Hell, you know what I mean. Don't pretend like I'm some killjoy.

It's just a silly thing to complain about. You're going to enjoy the album either way.
It's just a silly thing to complain about. You're going to enjoy the album either way.
It gets less silly the less money you have, when you realize increasing $$cost per song, getting even worse if look at $$cost per song, only counting new stuff. But I digress. I just realized that Amazon's image (whether a placeholder or actual album artwork) for Pied Piper is Sawao, Manabe, and Sato in front of SEATTLE'S CROCODILE CAFE, the place I saw the pillows for the first time, which Sawao likely regards as holy, as Nirvana started out their career playing there... My bitterness if fading quickly. ::PLEASE BE THE ALBUM ART, PLEASE BE THE ALBUM ART::
