I'm listening to Ellegarden for the first time right now... and I don't know what I think. The lead singer's English is kinda' annoying. I wish he just went to Japanese...

Which album? I strongly recommend everybody to try Don't Trust Anyone but Us and Riot on the Grill as their starters.

I was listening to Bare Foot. I listened to the first three songs. They sound pretty good... I can see how they would be so popular in Japan.

I have Riot on the Grill though, so I'll listen to that.

Get Don't Trust Anyone but Us, seriously. Definitely their best album. Bare Foot is one of the songs on it, too.

I was out drinking with a girl who likes Ellegarden last night. I pretended to like them more than I actually do. But I do like Santa Claus.

I've just put on the 'Don't Trust Anyone But Us' CD, and it's pretty damn amazing. Santa Claus has an amazing chorus... I think Ima enjoy this band.

So, I listened to the whole 'Don't Trust Anyone But Us' CD (at the suggestion of Mare), and it's fucking ridiculous. It keeps progressively getting better and better. My favorite on the CD is still Santa Claus, but there are many other great ones on there too, like Bare Foot, Yubiwa, 45, and Lonesome.

I've been listening to Riot on the Grill.

I like what I hear. Marry Me and モンスター are my favorite songs. And yeah, I do notice that this band actually utilizes all of their guitars. Good stuff.

Snake Fighting is also a really cool song on Riot on the Grill, it has a really cool chorus and the changeups are awesome.

Basically, this band gets a lot of shit and is terribly underrated. If you enjoy AKG or the pillows, odds are you should at least give them a shot.

I was listening to "Marry Me" and she asked who they were. She said they sounded like an Australian boy band (she said their music was similar to Simple Plan). I told her they were Japanese and she refused to believe. I then played her a Japanese song and she was totally like 0_o. It was great.

Yeah. My favorites are now Missing, My Favorite Song, and probably Marry Me. I haven't listened to everything, but I've locked onto a few of their songs.
