I've been currently playing Call of Duty for on my friend's Xbox360 a lot. So far, I've just got 70 more headshots to go until I unlock the gold camo for the M60E3, my favorite gun.

I've played the PC version a TON... except for the end of December and all of January when a patch inadvertently killed a small number of people's pings to the point where it wouldn't let you join low-ping servers, but when they fixed in it Feb I started playing again.

I own Call of duty for the xbox (original one) Finest hour. It wasn't that great. But i enjoyed it non the less. I heard it's good. But my dial up prevents me from actually taking any online game ONLINE.

I rented it for my PS3 and will buy it soon.

Single player was awesome, filled with quite a few "wow" moments. Too bad it was too short.
Haven't played it online yet, my little brother won't stop playing it though.

There seems to be a bug where you drop a grenade when you die. I know about the martyrwhatever thing but that wasn't it...

Martyrdom. I think occassionally if you use the Frag x3 perk, you'll drop one of the extra ones, but I'm pretty skeptical.

Btw, I've unlocked gold camo for the LMG's.

I first noticed this when playing offline against my brother. We didn't use perks so I dunno.

Martyrdom is my biggest problem with the otherwise spectacular multiplayer. It's cheap bullshit.

I shouldn't have to worry about the guy I just killed exploding all over me (and for that matter people who just happen to walk by). I can see it being okay with consoles but it's the kind of thing that doesn't fly with the PC community (in general at least).

My brother is having the most ridiculous luck right now online, every five seconds he's turning a corner and finding someone looking the other way, or someone just passes by him only to get knifed/shot/anally raped

My brother isn't even that great at FPSes, but he always has excellent luck and always does well because of it... [i]Why not me...[/i]

I love 4. And I love the grenadier, martyrdom and all. We play hardcore multiplayer and I consider a good life if I kill two people with the grenade launcher. Martyrdom is really nice, though. i can't understand why people hate it, unless they just forget who they are playing against.

The only time martyrdom becomes an issue is if you kill them from medium range, don't hear the 'nade drop and run onto it. Other than that, I don't see an issue with it.

Have you ever tried Search and Destroy? You can get mad xp if you kill some bitches.

I've currently began experimenting with the Stealth SMG combo. It worked like a charm on Countdown, but blew chunks on Backlot.

4 guys with grenadiers in countdown is really fun.

I can't leech off my friend's CoD4 anymore--He's taken his shit home, and leaves on Friday.
