Anyways, I've always liked Mighty Lovers, it's actually one of my favorites. I like it more than Nonfiction and Gazelle City, anyways.

Anyways, I just don't like Youngster. I did at first, but it started to become very annoying the more I listened to it. Runner's High is a song I've ALWAYS loved, and that never faded. Can't say I know why. Anyways, yeah... Propose. For some reason it just seems boring to me. I totally get what feel the pillows were going for with that one, and yeah... I don't EVER feel it. I can get why so many people disagree with me, but hey, it's the way I feel.

And as for 90% of all pillows fans disagreeing with me, I can only think of that as a good thing. Seriously.

Wake Up!x3 is within my top 10 favorite albums though. There are some good songs on there. I just feel like the first four tracks don't connect well, I guess. Independently they are fine, but united the first four tracks simply don't do it for me.

It's one thing to have a different opinion from a large group of people and another to be proud of that different opinion SIMPLY BECAUSE IT DIFFERS FROM THE MAJORITY. One is fine, and the second is just stupid. If it's a "generic archetype" to like a catchy song, then I'll take the generic way out. There seems to be a rather large correlation between how good a song is and the percentage of people that likes it. Just because you disagree doesn't make your opinion superior, just different, so being so proud of disagreeing with the majority just makes you an asshole. So grow up.

And please, sir. Don't even try to act like I wouldn't understand what you said, or that I somehow need you to explain your ass-headedness to me.

The rest of your post was merely opinions on what songs you like/dislike, which are your opinions, and I don't care one way or the other. If you like a song, cool, if not, that's cool too. Me discussing where I disagree with you on how good or not good a song is isn't going to change the opinion you've already formed on it.

The title track is freaking amazing, and the whole album's solid. I remember how psyched I was when it first came out, as soon as I d/led it I listened to almost nothing but that album for like a week straight.

It's one thing to disagree, but I have to ask that you REFRAIN from calling me names. I haven't called you a name this entire time, and so I'd like it if you refrained from disrespecting me. I am no asshole, and I will not have you talk to me like that, even if this is just the internet.

I don't think I'm above anyone else. I don't think my opinions are either. Everything I say is subjective, and I don't need you to point that out. Opinions are formed naturally, so I don't need to acknowledge that everything I say is my opinion.

Lastly, I don't think I'm "AWESOME" because I dislike a song that others like. I simply accept the fact that I'm at odds, and I think that is a good thing because it just strengthens my individuality. You are mean, man. Just plain mean.

OK, so I was being a jerk. Well, I wasn't really aware of it. I didn't specifically aim for any of my comments to be harsh until I read this:

I was trying to have some good discussion, and then I get dissed. So I responded by saying I'd appreciate it if Mare actually took some time to quote the overall intent of my messages instead of one line that wasn't the main topic of discussion:

But I was just pissed that my whole message was being ignored, excluding one small part that had nothing to do with what I was talking about.

I didn't consciously decide: "Hey, you know what? I feel like pissing Mare off. Let's fight."

So no. I can see where I was being a jerk, but I didn't call him a name, NOT ONCE, and I don't appreciate being insulted like that. It doesn't feel good to be called an asshole, I can tell you that much; that's what rules are for, amirite?

And if I was being condescending, I'm sorry, I really don't see it that way. I'll just say that I don't think I'm better than anyone else because I dislike a popular song, and that I think its a good thing in that it counts towards individuality (not just for me but all of us).

Yeah, I see it now. I just read the first two post I made which led to this crap fest, and I can see it; how I came off as an ass. I apologize for that, because I actually hadn't read my first two post until just a few minutes ago. I only wanted to have some good discussion about the album, but I can see that that's not how it came off. I'll drop it, then. And I'll admit I was the wrong one in this situation. My bad.

I think the new album has a lot of potential. I really like Tokyo Bambi and New Animal is looking good as well. I wonder if TB and NA will wind up on the new album? Or will just one of them? It'll be interesting to see. I can't say for sure if it'll beat WU!x3, but we'll see. I wonder if this new album is going to have a lot of electric sounds as well (what with the Tokyo Bambi Single, and also Mr. Droopy). TYMT had some electronic experimentation and look - it's my favorite pillows album. I guess only time will tell.
