So, I copied the setlist on my phone while they were playing. This is what I have; I'd appreciate any corrections and additions:

1) I think I can
2) Rock'n'Roll Sinners
3) Come on
4) Wake up! dodo
5) Crazy Sunshine
6) One Life
7) My Foot
8) ((They said it was a new song they recorded. Any additional info would be <3))
9) I couldn't identify this one either, but it could possible be the 7th or 10th songs from "Wake up! Wake up! Wake up!"
10) Ride on shooting star
11) Little Busters
12) I think it's Skinny Blues?
13) Hybrid Rainbow
14) Funny Bunny
15) Nightmare
16) Blues Drive Monster

3 was Carnival
8 was New Animal
12 was Century Creepers
15 was Advice

Not sure on 9. It MIGHT have been Tokyo Bambi, but I don't know the song well enough to be sure.

I was one person back from the stage by Manabe. Got caught up in the scuffle for the pick all three times. Came close on the first but not on the rest. I feel bad for the first time though. Two people got it and wouldn't let it go. They ended up holding onto it for almost all of Funny Bunny before something happened and they both dropped it. Never was found.

I was the one in the Mongolian Chop Squad t-shirt.

Great concert, but I still find myself preferring the 2005 Knitting Factory show overall despite the near monopoly of FLCL songs (Swanky Street excepted)

The song after New Animal was not Tokyo Bambi, it was yet another new one off the upcoming album. The title of New Song 2 is unknown but they were running through it at soundcheck as well...I hope someone got that on tape because I was unable to record on my phone. Catchy, similar to New Animal in respects to it being "more rocky" but still catchy pop material. This new album will kick your ass. The show kicked my ass; two encores, Century Creepers, new songs, absolute glory. For those of you who waited in the front of the theater, the bandmembers made quite a discreet exit out the back and just kept walking to who knows where, maybe their hotel?? A select few mobbed Sawao and he ended up falling behind the rest of the band/entourage, and it was pretty funny because he was nice enough to stop for pictures and signings but then had to run to catch up, all the while saying that "new york is very cold"!! There is probably nothing like getting held up at a traffic stop alongside Sawao Yamanaka. I hope you guys had a great night, I sure did. Nice meeting you dudes on the east coast. I'll send some music links your way tomorrow.

Oh yeah, by the way, I was there.

There was an old man with a hat and glasses. If that wasn't strange enough, he was in the front row.

Edit:

Sawao = Fender Cyclone + Fender Twin Reverb.
Manabe = Gibson Whateverthefuckitis Les Paul + Marshall JCM900;
the JCM800 that jedi identified earlier was probably, in fact, the JCM900 - from the pictures, it almost definitely was, and the Vox was definitely not an AC30, although it was not used in New York.
Jun = Haha, no one cares.

Oh, and I spent about three hours waiting in line (not by choice - I just got there early) watching a girl repeatedly get hit by a door she was standing in front of.

Also, it was funny how they probably thought a lot of the audience was going to go to the Noodles show tomorrow. It was pretty obvious when the pillows came out that nobody wanted to see the Noodles show today.

Seriously, what was up with that old man? I know at least one of you fools must have seen him/known him.

Didn't someone (h2o, lmd?) say they were going to go with their dad?

I just got back, It was almost a 7 hr drive each way :o. I got there around 3:30-4 and there was already 15-20 people in line. I saw a few people from IM. the show was awesome! I don't think I need to go into detail about how orgasmic manabe was. I was 2 or 3 people back in front of him. when the pillows came on stage everybody pushed forward crushing everyone at the front. then a song or two in sawao, like the genius he, is told everyone to push forward even more. a double whammy of crushing ensued :(. despite that I still had a good time. the song they played after new animal was the "mister droopy" song. I got pillowsfan05 (I think that's his username) to record the second half of it. after the show I waited around to get my guitar signed, but I ended up leaving at 11:30 because I couldn't wait any longer.

Did anyone get the pillows to sign anything? cause they kinda kicked us out from waiting, though i got pics with the noodles and got them to sign their CD lol

EDIT:

1) the 9th song was Wake up Dodo!

2) Sawao had an afro 8)

That was #4 though; I was keeping track as I went; not after the show.

it's a new song. I don't know what the title is but in the chorus they say "mister droopy". they played it at the show in seattle as well, I believe.
