Wow I have started to use Marth more often that usual. I'm good with him and Link, and I somewhat used them in Melee(Mainly Mario and Samus)
I think Pit is alright, not that great, but not that bad either.
And Fox has become a better character to use. I use o hate him, but I can use him once in a while. Depends also on the character I'm fighting against.

I really wish Wi-Fi weren't so laggy. I mean it IS Brawl and a LOT of people got this game, but still. I can't even play a friendly match with one of my friends because I will get booted off :( I can only play after 8 when all the little kids are asleep :(

I was kicking some ass last night with Ice Climbers and Dedede. I guess Wooden Mallets are my weapons of choice, lol. 8)

Wario was a good fighter for me, too. His fart attack is straight up suicide bomber if you don't use it for a while. It was a guaranteed multi-KO every time I ran into a crowd.

I have been taking a liking to Lucario. I barely got him yesterday and I play with him very well. Must be becasue I sometimes used Mewtwo on Melee.
I had a question
If Super Smash Bros were released on VC, would you buy it for 10 bucks?

i just played for the first time. i'm happy that fox is good again. ^_^

and yes, his up smash is amazing. it has always been his best attack and really... it's his only good finishing move. his other smashes just aren't that good (down is ok i guess).

we just unlocked sonic. then we all used him at the same time and it was madness.

it's time for mike to get back into smash. i pretty much skipped the GC one... maybe because fox wasn't as good as the N64 version. :D

What the hell? Fox was amazing in SSBM. Did you ever watch ANY high level play with Fox. Wavedashing + shine + his godly smashes + laser = instant kill.

Fox is, and was ALWAYS a fantastic character.

His smashes were WEAK AS FUCK in Melee. Period. Yeah, if you spent HOURS and HOURS practicing, his combos due to the wave dash glitches were disgustingly good, but fuck that. As a casual gamer's character, he ate ass in melee.

Pikachu is great in brawl; his down smash has some range to it. His up smash eats shit now, but they fixed enough of the rest of it that i don't mind.

NO NO NO on the first point, yes on the second. Ever use the up smash with Fox in Melee? AUTO KO~~~~~ DESHITA~~~ Even for casual players, Fox was awesome. From what I've read, he's been nerfed a bit in Brawl, but I can't really say. I'm not a real competitive smash player.

I'm starting to like Ike quite a bit. He's slow, sure, but his range is crazy, and like all of his moves can KO. :shock:

Dude, his up smash was the ONLY good move for a casual player in melee, but they made it better and easier to use in Brawl. On top of that, his uair is stronger in brawl than it was in melee, or at least it seems that way to me. His smashes in general are better than they were in Melee. You may say he got nerfed, but I think that the only nerfed thing I've seen that's really bugged me so far is Pikachu's up-smash beeing the weakest shit ever.

I dunno about that, man. I've seen a lot of pretty good Fox players in Melee who didn't wavedash or anything. And it's not me saying he got nerfed; it's the competitive Smash community. I just read it. xD

Just got done with testing Olimar with a friend (named Grayson, strangely enough).

We've determined that he's utterly broken. He's sort of intimidating to use, as there's definitely a learning curve with him. Essentially, you just have to recognize what order your Pikmin are in, and form your attack plan based on that.

red, yellow = attack
purple = smash
white = forward b
blue = throw

So if you get a grip on that, then know what his range is, and can play a little keepaway...then Olimar beasts everyone. His range is completely crazy, so good luck throwing him. Good luck throwing projectiles at him, as his Pikmin are likely to get in the way. Be prepared to hurt a few Pikmin, rather than Olimar himself. He's a light character, but definitely not a pushover. Damn, it's like Marth and Nana from Ice Climbers had a baby.

In conclusion, watch our for this prick.
Or learn how to play him well. 8)

edit: added you, kaze
