Wait a minute, do they usually sign stuff at concerts?
The 2008 @ Slims is going to be my first concert and I wanted to know if I should bring my guitar or not?

During the LA show back in 2006, the pillows came outside of the Whiskey to chill off and have a smoke. It won't be any different this time. However, unless you leave your guitar in your car and take out AFTER the show, don't bring it. You won't want to be carrying that shit around inside the venue. Plus the possibility of it getting stolen. If you want, bring your pickguard instead.

I seem to recall seeing one or two kids who brought their guitar to the LA show. However, I don't remember if they had it with them inside the Whiskey. Even if El Rey lets you in with your guitar, you're taking a big gamble by just walking around with it.

In Chicago everybody caught the pillows as they were taking down their set, and again they didn't mind. Got my copy of PML signed, so I already got my dream item signed. I'll probably get one of my single's signed next time, probably Carnival.
And as for packing, I had cargo shorts, so I bubble wrapped my copy of PML, put it in one of those huge pockets and it was good to go.

Yeah, I'm really not sure how I'm going to go about getting this poster signed. I need to call the NY venue and see if they have a bag/coat check (unlikely but it's worth a shot).
So yeah, One Life poster and Go Delicious Go for Jun to sign (man I wish I could get TSF to sign it too ). I'd like to bring along Revolution Is My Name for Manabe to sign, too, but that might be getting to borderline obnoxious.
I wonder if I should mention that at Chicago last time my ex was the one who pulled tree-fuzz from his hair

I'm debating that too, I have no CD's except My Foot and Wake Up!x3, so the best thing I can think of is my guitar, but I don't know if I'll catch the Pillows outside before or after. Also I'd like to ask, can I bring a camera/silver sharpie/ into the El Rey theatre?

They're not going to check your pockets to see if you have a Sharpie, lol.
However, every single venue is different. Some are always Nazis about cameras and others have no problem with it. I've never been inside the El Rey so your best bet is calling them up before hand. If they say no, they're not gonna tackle you for using your cell phone camera.

People, I highly recommend you don't bring any big items. Like I said, unless you have a car to leave them in to bring out after the show, your just asking for X item to get damaged or stolen.
Posters are something that are better off being signed at some official meet and greet. So far none have been announced. If one is announced, it's gonna end up being at Anime Boston. I doubt you'll find a clean and big enough surface for the pillows to sign your poster if you're going to the other shows.
Bringing your pickguard, if your guitar has one, is much safer than bringing the whole guitar.
Don't just bring your CD booklets either. Bring the entire CD case but leave the CD itself at home. You don't want your booklets being damaged.

Oh shi-I totally forgot...
THe Knitting Factory was awesome about cameras and anything you wanted to bring in, I hope Gramercy is the same way. I'ma be PISSED if they don't allow cameras or something...
EDIT: Just read the General Rules on their site, no mention of anything, so it would be apparrent we're ok to bring whatever...

Read my post about big items above. Either way, I hope you're planning on getting it signed on the shell and not the head. Rather points to do so, even if you do purchase a replacement.
