That's what I'm thinking, they just have to iron out details with some other venues. But they did get good turnouts in Chicago and Mexico, so I don't see why they should be skipped unless there was a major problem booking a show causing them to skip said city.
I know, I'm confused by there not being a chicago show too. The Chicago show in 06 sold out and then some.
I cant come up with any good reason for them not to come back other than they're having trouble getting a good venue.

Los Angeles Tickets on Sale!
Tickets went on sale for the El Rey Theatre at noon today on Ticketmaster. Just search for Pillows or El Rey Theatre. This is the kick-off show for the tour, and the only So Cal appearance so please don't get locked out by waiting until March 13 to try to buy tix at the box office.

Wasn't the Chicago show only at 3/4 capacity? I know it never actually sold out all the way.
Getting a good venue would probably be a big problem for them. They had to settle with Logan Square last time and that place sucked. Maybe it turned them off to the city.

Re: Los Angeles Tickets on Sale!
Tickets are $36.75 and up for the El Rey show. I hate Ticketmaster so much. I really just want to stab my eyeballs with a pen. I have to wait until Thursday to buy my tickets. I hope for Sawao's sake there's still two left for me. If not I just might go to LA just to kill him. Even though t won't be his fault.
btw, wasabi is gross.

Sounds like a personal problem.
Also, fixed your typo.

Ticketmaster does indeed blow. It can nearly double ticket price, and for a poor college student that can be annoying as hell. (Edit: Though just now student loans for this quarter went through and suddenly I don't mind the Ticketmaster fee as much anymore, though this money should technically go towards you know rent and bills and food).
I'm torn on what to do. I have a couple people on board for a possible road trip out to NYC for the show there (assuming we can enlist a car), but it'd suck to buy tickets for the show and then have a Chicago show get announced. (I would say "screw it, I'm seeing them twice," but I don't think the other 2 or 3 people would do the same).

Got my tickets for the show at Slim's. Paying a 3 dollar service fee wasn't so bad. Fortunately, I didn't have to deal with Ticketmaster and those crazy service fees.
I hope they do a meet and greet thing again too. Gotta remember to bring a small bag too. Last time, I had to go in line again and that took an extra 30 minutes. Missed Lemon Drop Kick that way. Heh, at least I forgot that security guards face.

I also got my ticket for Slim's cost me $25.
Question: What should I expect/be prepared for? Other than having my face melt from seeing the pillows live.

Ignorant people calling out "RIDE ON SHOOTING STAR," "LITTLE BUSTERS!!" and/or "BEAUTIFUL MORNING WITH YOUUU!!!"
The standard counter to this is: "PANTOMIME," "KANOJO WA SHISUTAA," and/or "BEAUTIFUL PICTURE!!!"

I'll be the douchebag yelling swanky street or tashikame ni yukou and punching the "this song has lyrics?" morons.
Screw it. Road trip to NYC is on. If they wind up playing Chicago at the last minute then hey, I get to see them twice. If the couple people going to NYC with me want to drop out in that case then I'll find someone else. Huzzah.
(though I'd really love to see the Seattle show so I'd get to see TSF live at least once, but I don't know if I can wing it, if the date stays the same it's mid-finals-week )

Gropers, I heard some guy boasting about how he touched so many girls on "accident". Bring ear plugs if you don't want to hear the excess bass since the sound guy is usually deaf. Money for shirts and hopefully stickers too.
