Neither Tokyo Bambi nor Ladybird girl were so different that they couldn't have been on Wake Up!x3. Had they been singles for WU3, that would have been great for the promotion of the album. I especially like the transition from Serious Plan to Tokyo Bambi.
OH YEAH! I RIKU DISU REREASU RISTU FO DA NEW MATERIA WEEV BEN WRYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYTING! Scarecrow BOYS BE LOCKSMITH Skinny Blues Ladybird girl And Hello! Tsuyogari Tokyo Bambi Go! Go! Jupiter Across the Metropolis Wake up! dodo YOUNGSTER (Kent Arrow) PROPOSE SCARECROW BOAT HOUSE PLEASURE SONG Ladybird Girl SERIOUS PLAN Tokyo Bambi PRIVATE KINGDOM Century Creepers (Voice of the Proteus) Sweet Baggy Days
To me, that builds a very strong case for the idea that they should sit back on their releases. 12 songs on the album, three singles with two b-sides. I had a response for Rhino, but the breaker tripped and I lost it, so to summarize: YOU SUCK Not really. Basically, I was just a little miffed at the way the post started.
"Fucking awesome?" Really?
It seemed unwelcome to me. Regardless of the subjectivity, it all seemed a bit arrogant, I thought.
The only thing I found to be egregiously stupid and mock-worthy about the retort blurb was when I said "Emphasis on FUN". Oh man, shoot me in the ass with an air pistol. Everything else, I'm not sure. I surely don't hold the opinion that Tokyo Bambi is the "second coming of Pirouzu", though I also don't see why it would be silly to be excited for the Tokyo Bambi b-sides and future releases. I think it is a genuinely inspired song, and I like most nearly everything about it.
I don't see how "Hey guys, the song isn't as good as you think, here are some songs that are better." is a useful contribution to the discussion about Tokyo Bambi. Why tamp down excitement? I don't think anyone is going BALLISTIC about loving the song, but still.

I think it's a nice song, wouldn't say it's amazing though.
1) Manabe solo, I was just writing that i don't like it but I listened to the song few more times and I am starting to like it now.
2) Drums little solo. At first I thought it's meh, but just like with a solo, I like it now.
Moreover, song gives me a positive feeling. OH YEAH!!

i accept that you think like that, except for And Hello! and Rosy Head.
they'll never own Tokyo Bambi. there are still more songs in that list that i think Tokyo Bambi owns, but as i said, rosy head and and hello! really surprise me to get a better rate than bambi.

has any one noticed that tokyo bambi hasn't been banned from youtube yet? maybe avex is turning over a new leaf with their "promotional" videos. Lets all hope so.
I think the main reason there is so much debate on whether tokyo bambi is good vs it being bad has to do with its predecessor which was ladybird girl.
If you liked ladybird girl than you may not like tokyo bambi cause it didn't live up to your expectations
If you didn't like the punk style muted chord strumming in ladybird girl, then the reason you like tokyo bambi more so than not is just a backlash of your hate towards ladybird girl.
cool?

If life were an RPG, I wonder if anyone would take me along for the journey...
Really! I've got some cool spells, and a +1 mace! So what if I have a -25 in interpreting...

Aww, but calkalaters don't nid interprit I'd bring you along for my RPG Cloudy. You're like Quina, but with a definitive sex. You're also not nearly as annoying.
To the other pipple: I have to use dial-up at home. ;_; At school, I can use my laptop's wifi and I'm totally happy... minus the fact I can't conventionally p2p. And the guitarwork and vocals on And Hello! are much, much better than Ladybird Girl, IMO. So good, in fact, they knew they HAD to make it an A-side.
lulz, jk. But it's still effin' sweet.

This video at first i didn't really like. I mean the trumpets were to new.
Considering i haven't heard Liberty. That was to new.
But i don't know it is slowly growing on me.
Not there best. But it's decent.
I personally like Lady Bird Girl WAY more then this one.
It's to plain this one. Nothing special about it. (besides the trumpets"still not sound good")

Thank you.
The PV/song fills my glee meter. Over 9000. It puts a massive smile on my face that doesn't go away until it's over.
