Post the pillows SF concert
Dude, how much did that concert rock?! The pillows were totally amazing!! But what surprised me even more was just how mind-blowing all the other bands were! Every band had their own style.

The Noodles are awesome, I regret not buying their older cd that was for sale (if anyone has their older stuff, lemme know please!) Their new cd titled IVY is really really good.

Titan Go Kings were crazy and really worked the crowd. Definitely worthy of Berkeley's Gilman St punk scene.

Tsushimamire made Icarus Line look like a bunch of PANSIES. They've got these crazy tiny voices that transition to hard-rock deep and really know how to rock. Man, when they came on, I had no idea they would sound like that. I also regret not buying their CD (again, if anyone has it lemme know, PLEASE). I've tried to look for CD's online, but can't find em.

And WOW, Petty Booka (the ukelele duo) really put on a good show considering all they had were two ukeleles and had to go up before the pillows. Very fun. They managed to get everyone to sing "Que Sera Sera". How can you say no to two girls wearing cowboy outfits?

the pillows were incredible! They got a mini-mosh pitt going and got everyone jumpin'. Man, their gig felt way too short even though they played about the same number of songs as the other bands. They played the FLCL songs only, and I kinda wish they'd play some of their fresher songs, but I really can't complain, all them songs rock!

Anyone have pix, an opinion, or whatnot? I just wanted to say that the concert completely exceeded my expectations. Well worth the $8!
