 the images... where'd they go? hehe... images are disappearing!
then the image came back, but another promptly disappeared... tra la la... =D
(i'm using firefox if that matters/helps)

i'm not using firefox. could be you. i generally use microsoft ie. works for me.

reformat... that sounds like a great idea!
actually, they're back now. (except the image in the upper left corner... but that might have been a deliberate change... which would make me think that in the process of changing that, the server just acted a little weird.)

it's been a recurring problem (at least for me, it sounds like some of you haven't had a problem...).
every so often the permissions on certain images for the forum changes and thus you can't read/display them- an r [readable] turns into an x [executable]. i can fix it by deleting and reloading the images but it keeps happening. normal site images haven't been affected thus far, which makes me think it's a phpbb problem, but i couldn't find anything about it at the phpbb site.
aaand i haven't had time to do anything else about it lately. .__.
