Easy as hell. Verse, lead, solo, etc. Easy as hell.
I can tab it out later if you'd like...but maybe you should try it and I can see if I agree with you.

Here's what I got so far. It goes to about the first chorus:
Also, I didn't bother with the midevil sounding intro just yet.
Lady Bird Girl Tabbed by: MyFoot email:BBallmster91@aol.com
Verse: e------------------------------------------------------------ B----------------------------------------------------------- G----------------------------------------------------------- D-----------------------------------77777777--- A---77777777---22222222--444444444--55555555--- E---55555555---00000000--222222222----------------
Palm muted, 4 times...listen for absolute dynamics. (If your obsessed with perfection, listen for when they break out of pm and into quiet playing)
Pre Chorus: e---------------------- B---------------------- G-------9--77777777 D--9----9--77777777 A--9----7--55555555 E--7-------------------
At this point, Sawao plays the verse not palm muted, and Manabe plays this catchy little riff: e------------------------------------------------- B------10----9----12---10~-------14--12--10~ G------------------------------------------------ D--/11---11---11---11--------11--------------- A------------------------------------------------ E-------------------------------------------------
e-------------------------------------------------- B------10----9----12---10~------9h10p9-12-10 G------------------------------------------------- D--/11---11---11---11--------------------------- A------------------------------------------------- E-------------------------------------------------
Then its verse 4 times again, and pre chorus again. NOTE: I think Manabe plays something different during the prechorus, what I have down is Sawao's part.
Then Chorus:
e-------------------------------------------------------------- B-------------------------------------------------------------- G---------------77777777------------------77777777--- D--77777777-----77777777------77777777----77777777--- A--77777777-----55555555------77777777----55555555--- E--55555555-------------------55555555------------------
e------------------------------------------------------------ B------------------------------------------------------------ G---------------77777777------------------------------- D--77777777-----77777777-----77777777-----22222222---22222222--- A--77777777-----55555555-----77777777-----22222222---22222222--- E--55555555------------------55555555-----00000000---00000000---
If I'm not mistaken, it goes back to the riff and repeats.
Riff Pre Chorus Chorus
Thaat's what I've got so far, input appreciated.
Mare and I will (perhaps) release an existing GP tab when we are satisfied with it to perfection (or near-perfection).

Your Manabe riff is off by a bit. Watch the video again, and be aware of notes that he lets ring.
I can make some edits later tonight probably. Along with the solo.

This seems more right from live videos.

Almost. But you guys have really got to listen to the song more. You're missing the detail between the last three notes. Between the "9, 7, 5"...check it again.

EDIT: use the Guitar Pro tab, mine blows
Ladybird Girl
1st verse, Sawao (Manabe stays silent): ::muted:: e------------------------------------------------------------ B----------------------------------------------------------- G----------------------------------------------------------- D-----------------------------------77777777--- A---77777777---22222222--444444444--55555555--- E---55555555---00000000--222222222----------------
2nd, 3rd verse, Manabe: ::muted, occasionally (near the end of the strumming), becoming unmuted. Listen to the 2007.7.19 live for details. e------------------------------------------------------------ B----------------------------------------------------------- G--------------99999999-----------------77777777---- D---77777777---99999999---777777777--77777777- A---77777777---77777777---777777777--55555555--- E---55555555--------------555555555---------------- x3
e------------------------------------------------------------------10,10 (keep-- B----------------------------------------10,10--99----12,12---99---10,10 hitting till prechorus) G--------------99999999-------------------99----99-----99-----99---- D---77777777---99999999---777777777------------------ A---77777777---77777777---777777777---------------- E---55555555--------------555555555----------------
Pre Chorus: e----------55555555- B----------55555555- G-------9--77777777- D--9----7--77777777- A--9----7--55555555- E--7-------55555555--
Manabe's riff: e-----5----4----7---5;-----9---7---5; B---------------------------------------------- G--/6---6----6---6-----------5---5------ D------------------------------------------------ A------------------------------------------------- E-------------------------------------------------
e-----5----4----7---5;--------5---7--5------------ B---------------------------9---9--------- G--/6---6----6---6------------------------ D------------------------------------------------ A------------------------------------------------- E-------------------------------------------------
Then its verse 4 times again, and pre chorus again.
Sawao's chorus is pretty much the following powerchords. What I have tabbed is Manabe's:
(amount of chord strikes isn't accurate. Just listen for it. But yeah, Manabe does throw that 6 in there to vary up the D chord) e-------------------------------------------------------------- B-------------------------------------------------------------- G--------------77-67677-----------------77-67677--- D--4444444-----77-77777------7777777----77-77777--- A--4444444-----55-55555------7777777----55-55555--- E--2222222-------------------5555555------------------
e------------------------------------------------------------ B------------------------------------------------------------ G--------------77-67677------------------9999999999999999-------- D--4444444-----77-77777-----77777777-----9999999999999999--- A--4444444-----55-55555-----77777777-----7777777777777777--- E--2222222------------------55555555-----------------------
Manabe's bit on the third verse (This very well could be played higher up on the fretboard. I'm too lazy to check the live/PV).
e--9;-------12;------9;-------10;--------------- B------10----------------10---------------------- G--------------------------------------------------- D--------------------------------------------------- A--------------------------------------------------- E---------------------------------------------------
e--9;-------12;------9;-------(10)(10)(10)(10)------- B------10----------------10---(10)(10)(10)(10)--- G--------------------------------------------------- D--------------------------------------------------- A--------------------------------------------------- E---------------------------------------------------
Solo (manabe)
e--------------------------------------------- B--------------------------------------------- G--4b6r4-2-1-2-1-------------------------------------- D----------------4-------------------------------------------2 A------------------4b5r4-2-0-2;---4b5r4-2-0--------4b5r4-2-0------ E-------------------------------------------2-0-2-
e--------------------------------------------- B--------------------------------------------- G--4b6r4-2-1-2-1-------------------------------------- D----------------4------------------------------------ A------------------4b5r4-2-0-2;--------------0-2-4-5-4-/7 E--------------------------------------0-2-4-
bridge (Manabe):
e------------------------------------------------------ b-------7;--------5;------7;-------5-------66666666------------ G-----6--------6--------6--------4-------6-66666666------------- D---7-------7---------7--------6-------6---66666666------------- A------------------------------------------------------ E------------------------------------------------------
For the first part of the riff during the end ("LADY BAHHHD GAHHL!") Manabe: e-----5----4----7---5;-----9!-9!-9!---- B------------------------10!-10!-10!---------------- G--/6---6----6---6----------------- D------------------------------------------------ A------------------------------------------------- E-------------------------------------------------
oh, and end on: e--5-- B--5- G--6-- D---- A--- E----
Not that GR's was bad. I just happened to have just updated the tab before reading Mare's post. Otherwise, I'd have been too lazy as well.

you left out some of the edits on manabe's prechorus, as to the chords he's using, sheer.

That is what he's playing. You can definitely hear the higher notes of the 799777, and it would only make sense to use those voicings on the next two chords (although it is indiscernible, as well as inconsequential).
Let's just let IM decide. Hint: One of us spent at least an hour analyzing and tabbing out the song.
