I still have confidence in this upcoming album. Blackout should be good redone. 8)

The physical CD will come in the mail in a few days, but I caved in and downloaded Fanclub anyway (I am weak... I at least didn't do this for My Foot). It's pretty good, but I've only listened to it once so far.
I thought Eien ni was definitely the best song on the single. World Apart was OK, but not nearly as cool as Blue Train. Uso to Wonderland was crap. The music was really boring and Kita has one of those annoying high pitched feminine voices. Reminded me a lot of the guitarist from GOING UNDER GROUND. I don't mind Kita's voice for back-up vocals, but I really hope that he dosen't start getting lead parts on albums.
Hey.

I'd say it takes the opposite.

Small, crappy chunk of writing that took 5 minutes... copypasta too. :dizzy:

What can I say? Well not much to be honest. I'm running through the album first time through on the 9th track, Senseless, and I'm liking what I'm hearing so far. As much as I hated Woruldu Apparttu [WORLD APART] (please excuse my mediocre/amateur romaninization or whatever) I began to lose slight hope into what this album was going to sound like, but wow, as I'm entering the 10th track [Gekkou], I'd say this is truly their best album yet to date. (Isn't it great having Japanese friends with the same interests as yours?) As a conclusion, this is a mix of all their works/skills combined into one album with slight experimentation.

I'll be willing to share it with anybody if they're interested. Thanks very much sonic3305.

Only one song was good out of it.
Wonderland was damn good. Eternally was ok. WTF were they thinking with WORLD APART? Worst drumming ever, the guitar and bass is putting me to sleep. I hope to allah they don't put this on their next album, but they will :(
Yeah only Wonderland was a good listen. I didn't care for Eternally. World Apart just about had for a few seconds and then it sucked.
On Blue Train single, I liked it all but Blue Train itself but after a few listens I got used to it. Still.

While I do not agree with your opinion, I certainly do respect it! Keep on posting the good posts, sir!

Anyway, I think the new album is great, but I'm not gonna write a review about it because I'm horny and I need to jerk off. So yeah, just download the album and listen to MUFUYU NO DANCEEE

Wait, I thought you already hated AKG. What made you decide to try Fan Club?

I've been listening to the album for a while and I just can't find a song I really don't like. Angou no Waltz and Tightrope are among my favorites. I hope they continue to do more songs that aren't in 4/4.

Because I'm always hopeful. I found a torrent for it with a lot of seeds so I gave it a try. Disappointment ensued. Maybe it's because they remind me of the bands MXPX and Millencolin. Or it could just be because of how boring they are.

I don't like Fan Club too much . . . it disappointed me, too, and I hated it at first. I love the earlier stuff, and especially Sol-Fa (Every song on that album is awesome, and it never gets old), but the newer style really is quite boring. It's very different, and I guess I just wasn't ready for it. I had heard Blackout before, but that was it. I hadn't heard the Blue Train or World Apart singles (still haven't). I think I've listened to the album 3 times, and I liked it a little better each time, but it's nowhere near as good as the old AKG stuff, in my opinion. Yeah, but I'll continue giving it chances, because I love the band anyway, and I'm sure it will continue to grow on me. The thing is, the rest of their music never had to, though.

I put this together in Audacity this morning.
Loop & Loop, Mirai no Kakera, Mugen Glider.
I lol'd at Gotoh's vocal melodies.
