Yeah, why don't you try writing a Strage Chameleon? A Hybrid Rainbow?
If creating a song like Shiroi Natsu is as easy as you say, then go on and start recording. I'm eager to hear it.

A little known fact is that Sawao actually wrote Pachelbel's Canon in D Major. So try writing something like that, punk.

Insert Culen:
Well, technically all Canon in D is is some basic Ionian chordal arpeggios with a dominant 5th instead of a flatted 7. Hell, the G# may be suspended, but there's a key change in there so at least it fits. Jun could have written Canon, it's not like it's a big deal. Pop-classical, if you will.

lol.
in any case, i'm going to write a formulaic pillows song one day and i'll call it "pillows song" and the chorus will be random words in japanese and the english lyrics won't make much sense either.
it'll be great.
in all honesty i'm not trying to write the next hybrid rainbow... i'm trying to write the next... bye june? the next sliver... yeaaaaa

Musically simple, structurally difficult.
A canon might be the only thing harder to write than a fugue.

I didn't think Culen was a music theory nerd. Perhaps ThriceSk8tr666 or whatever he's called would be more appropriate.

because I have minor depression and one or two songs a day seems to work better than any anti-depressant I have ever taken.

Someone understands! <3[/quote]There are a lot of similes I can associate with the pillows, such as 'it's like ramen, but quicker and tastier'.
Yeah, but I know of nobody who hasn't discovered the pillows through Gainax's FLCL.

There were some people I told them about the pillows. So, that's like 2 people who found out about them not through FLCL.
