 Laptop brightness I recently got a refurbished Toshiba laptop, but I don't know how to raise the brightness, the screen is pretty dark.
Can anyone help me out?

there probably should be some sort of way to do it if you right click the desktop, properties, settings, advanced

mine is function + f7, it should also be in your bios. function + f6 is lower brightness for me also.

how old is your toshiba? mine is like two years old...
did you try going to the bios? do you know how to do that?

i have a toshiba satellite M35-S3692

there should be two keys with dark blue sun images on them. function (fn) plus those.

Plug your mind into the USB port. The screen will darken. (=
I have a Toshiba, except I don't know how to use it well. Try browsing the control panel.

Well, I had tried the funtion sun thing before I posted this, but it wasn't a drastic change so I didn't think it was working.
