In the clip I posted, what did he say in Japanese to the audience when he was ticked off?
Also, I think Sawao got angry, not when he was hugged, but when the guy pushed him over.
I mean, he's in the middle of a song, he's trying to concentrate and then the guy hugs him and throws him off.
I'd run after the guy too.

I don't even know what Manabe said in English, let alone what Sawao said in Japanese.

Manabe said "he's going to play", only it sounded like "he's going to pray".

Hahaha. I haven't seen it in a while, so the first part was the only part I remember.

At first I thought he said "He will pay." But I think he says "He prayed. He will pray. Not--not today's pran. Another song is prayed." lol

I can't catch the exact words Sawao said, but he used "omae," and was really pissed, so I don't think people really found it "funny." I doubt he was telling Manabe anything about "idiot americans," just letting him know that he wanted to do Last Dinosaur.

What is the significance of "omae"? Also, Manabe sure found it fairly hilarious that Sawao wanted to do "Last Dinosaur." It'd be impossible to know what they spoke about, but it was surely more than "Let's play 'Last Dinosaur.'"

Yeah. "omae" is very informal, which is rude in this sort of circumstance, especially with the tone he used.

Oh, god, I'm stupid. Sorry, it's a form of "you." In Japanese, you only refer to good friends with words like "anata" or "kimi." "Omae" can be used when like teasing your friends, but to use it to a stranger expresses a lot of rudeness (and often anger) towards them.

Heh. I remember the quote distinctly.
"We...play...We will play. ...Not today's plan...another song is played."
::slow, swelling applause and cheers::

harsh. I'd say he's wrong in most places, but...pretty much correct in a few. But again, hey. It's Keikaku.

I found the comparison of "Scarecrow" to "My Foot" as being about the same thing to be rather strange. They have really different feels, different meanings. And he never once mentioned anything about the style they were playing other than to say "You can hear good melodies poking through the mush here and there, but they never last more than a few seconds before they're swallowed by some nose-wrinklingly bad riff."
Interestingly enough, he comments that they only sing about a few things...well duh, music only has so many things you can sing about, but I wonder how much Japanese this person knows if they're making such overly generalized statements about the lyrics.
