So basically the perfect show, right? The characters are good, too. Trust me.

Sorry for doubleposting, but...
Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, Gainax's current show, is the best fucking thing in the world this year. CHECK IT OUT.
Looks like a lot of mecha and fan service FTW
For any Azumanga Daioh fans, theres this new anime called Lucky Star that is exactly like Azumanga Daioh with a Haruhi twist. http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclo ... hp?id=7222

The first episode is kind of slow; but after that the show is goddamn silly. It's like a Jerry Seinfeld type of humor.

I wouldn't say it's anything like Seinfeld's humor, but it is amusing. Anybody else watching Claymore? That and Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann seem to be at the head of the pack right now.

I've been thinking of watching Claymore but looks a lot like Death Note to me which I didn't particularly enjoy. Animation looks good though, should I pick up on Claymore?

The opening song is done by the same band that did the first Death Note opening, and the animation looks kind of like Death Note's, but I'd say the similarities end there.

I have really been loving one show called "Seto no Hanayome." Guy gets saved by a mermaid, mermaid is the daughter of the underwater yakuza boss, boy and mermaid now must live together. The Terminator parody episode is a must-watch.
Here's one of the best scenes from episode 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C7brnX1s5Z8

I just saw one of the funniest animes I've ever seen a few days ago, surpassing even Golden Boy. It's called Ghost Stories and some guy from ADV took the original japanese series and added an english dub but made it a lot more comedic. They kind of changed some characters like instead of one of them being a psychic, they changed her to be a Christian fanatic who slanders muslims, jews, and homosexuals every episode. Here's a clip from youtube.

Sorry for the newbish question, but can anybody suggest good places to d/l some anime? Because, I just ditched dial-up and got high-speed and those were one of my priorities when I got it. I know I could use Google, but I'm to lazy.

I've been keeping up with Bleach lately, and I either use www.tv-links.co.uk or www.veoh.com. I don't really feel the need to download anything.
