After reading this thread somewhat, I decided to play my old pokemon gameboy game, found it to be boring now, seemed more fun when I was eight.
Ah well.

Anyway, I tried the Wifi battle tower again and lost this time. I ran into a lot of swamperts, and my team was unbalanced, so I lost. :[[/quote]
Is Sawmpert the final stage of Mudkip? If so I ran into a bunch of those with japanese users, they were a pain

The originals seem boring now with all the gaming advances of the past years. The new games are radically different from the originals, though still preserving the original concepts.
Anybody else getting Battle Revolution? I just got a Wii the other day, and I'm somewhat pumped for PBR.

i'm not sure if it's going to be all that great... unless they can get some kind of extras in it. I'm not going to spend 50$ to watch my pokemon battle in 3d

Heh, anyone remember that pokemon game for the N64? That game was so bad.

Yeah, pretty much.
The mini games in Pokemon Stadium were pretty entertaining though. For a little while. With friends.

It's worth it to me for several reasons.
1. 3D online battling.
2. Highly customizable trainer
3. Extremely challenging "master round"
4. Excellent prizes for winning enough points, including a Pikachu with light ball that knows Surf upon completion, and even more useful items and berries than the Battle Tower has (including the Ice Beam TM which I believe you regretted not being able to purchase, grey)
Obtainable items

Got through the elite four today with this team:
1. Staraptor Lv.62
2. Garchomp Lv.50
3. Abomasnow Lv.40 (had like four ko's seriously)
4. Weavile Lv.52
5. Dialga Lv.52, I'm a cheater
6. Golem Lv.44
I got lucky against Cynthia's Garchomp, all I had was Staraptor and I used Brave Bird and got a critical hit which fucked it anally. I was quite pleased.
I gotta say the Battle Tower is pretty lame. I just want to update my Pokedex so I can get the national dex. I'm missing:
Driftloon
Cherrim
the three pixies
and one other that I don't actually know, it's between Burmy and Mothim
anyway, yeah, glad to have got past the Elite Four.

How is the battle tower lame? It gets really challenging after the first 14 trainers, and, if you win enough points (you get 20 for beating the Tower Tycoon, the 21st trainer) you can get awesome items.
Edit: Also, just learned from serebii.net that you can unlock a badass Electivire and Magmortar on Battle Revolution to download to your DS game.

How is it lame? I went in with Garchomp, Staraptor, and Weavile and just cleaned. I didn't lose once, I barely even took damage! I found it to be utterly boring, and none of the Pokémon even go to your pokedex!
By the way, I gotta find three more Pokemon for my dex:
1. Cherrim (where is this?)
2. evolved form of Burmy that is not Mothim
3. Drifblim, I know how/where to get it

Holy hell, I need a Togepi STAT.
I really don't want to drag my Staraptor though Victory Road / Elite Four.

Why do you need a Togepi if you have Togekiss?

Togekiss on my Trainer Card is the only future-plan I have on the card. The others are current, so yeah. Currently, my Staraptor is in the place of Togekiss.
