Feraligatr has really high SD and defense. Charizard has really high special attack and speed. I also didnt want to carry around a bird type so Charizard knows fly.
If it makes you feel better sometimes i substitute the feraligatr with lapras and the charizard with a level 90 arcanine from fire red

also forgot, the second one works better against a lot of people i have fought online. there are some that ive had to fight that use deoxys, darkrai, arceus and shit like that. and that was when we selected free battle so they had level 80+ legendaries

People who use ubers are fucking lame. Your second team is pretty nice, Kaze. We have several guys in common (for my hypothetical team anyway). I look forward to battling you after I get some more guys raised.

This time I've been trying to use more interesting teams than the usual thing of the three starters and three ubers.

Well ubers are just cheap, and most starters aren't even that amazing, save for the new fire evolution and maybe Charizard and Sceptile. Weavile is scary as shit, and, as usual, the new dragon is pretty monstrous. Of course Kaze and I both use them.

Nope. That card-maker site just gives you the option to put different in-game sprites as your image/avatar/character on the card.
