Zenkalia is also self-admittedly skinnier than Joyeuse. =o
I still say this is impossible.
I've never really been in a band. I might be playing guitar for a local group. A friend of mine wants to start a band, and seems to think that the fact we have very different musical tastes (he hates Nirvana and thinks Dragonforce is amazing) will make it an awesomely diverse band. I think it'll make the thing fall apart in no time.
I'm just recording stuff on my own right now.

Bands. My friend, actually I don't know what he is anymore, used to come over and play music. Well actually it would be like:
Me: Let's play something.
Him: What do you want to play?
Me: Music.
Him: I don't know what to play.
Me: Just play something on your guitar.
Him: But what should I play?
It would always end up like that and we'd end up printing out tabs for him for a song. And then I'd like:
Me: Let's play some pillows.
Him: But they're a japanese band.
Me: So?
Him: I can't sing japanese.
Me: I've been singing this whole time.
Him: No.
Me: Why?
Him: Why do you only listen to japanese music?
Me: Because its good.
Him: Whatever dude, whatever.
Maybe I just need to find a differnet guitarist.

Or stop listening to bands that are Japanese only if you live in America and expect to be in a band with people you didn't meet at an anime convention.

I do listen to American music sometimes. But very rarely. I just need to find a different guitarist.

Well, it just seems like you can never say what song it DOES resemble, and then when you do, it's really off.
If you're going to try and criticize music, shouldn't you take the time to come up with better references than "some Sex Pistols song" ? And "Very Ape"? Please...
Since Very Ape is in fact a song, I'd like to think that's a pretty good reference. Some Sex Pistols song however was a little vague.

I am well aware of the song, my point is that it's a bad reference.

keyboards are a step in the wrong direction if you're trying to copy weezer/pillows, aren't they?
