Meh, the feed thing is pretty unreliable. I won't say I don't have my suspicions, but I'm also not sure that facebook is grounds for an accusation.

The fact that he received messages from more than one person and didn't show up to IM at all until it was nicely cleaned up is rather damning. And the fact that he's part of the buffet doesn't help things.

I cleaned up countless raid leavings on my own. Now, one happens and you have a NEW second mod to help it, you can't even accept that I was ASLEEP and had to WORK and write REPORTS during the cleanup process. This is part of the reason I'm not gonna mod anymore - at least this way you can't point fingers at me for not taking any action when I'm unable to.

Part of me thinks Plat knew about the spam, being buddies with the guys who did it and all, but it's also very possible he had no idea and, as he says, was busy. Let's not go making accusations we can't be sure of.

What we do know is that Plat has taken some actions that I and others have strongly disagreed with, and that Plat does not appreciate the criticisms. As a result, he does not want to mod anymore. Given IM's oft-spammed status and [i]unique[/i] community, it's pretty understandable.

Alright, cease-fire.

Yeah. Guys, maybe do something about the sigs? Joyeuse hasn't seen eye to eye with some of us as of late, but he's not a bad guy, and he's modded for a while. I disagree with him lately, but he deserves a bit of respect.

with all due respect, maybe it's just time. I'm not gonna sit here and justify why joyeuse should give up his mod title, but i would assume that modding this site gets to be too much. Especially since it's changed so much. A lot more is tolerated nowadays than what was allowed few years back. And we have buffet raids regularly, so modding this site has to be tougher to do then it used to be. Despite everything that's happened in the last few months, as cliche as it sounds, let's put it behind us and get on with our lives.

I'm keepin the sig though.

That's true. It's just that recently, for whatever reason, the way the modding has happened has been a bit off. I guess maybe it's just that time to move on or whatever. I hope you still post here, Joyeuse, because I don't hate you, but I really dislike the way you've used your mod abilities lately.
