I like Sawao's voice in Cherry and the chorus is pretty sweet. It's really how the guitars chime in the intro and other stuff in Tiny Boat that annoys me. I like the acoustic version, but I don't really like the original so much.

His voice in the orginal is great though (well i think so) I mean it's better than the Turn Back version. But listening to Cherry like 5 times...it's getting better. But Tiny Boat's chorus is pretty sweet.

But I will admit that the guitars are great in Cherry's intro,and the solo is sick...but sawao's voice in Tiny Boat is still better, me thinks...

wow this is wierd cause i think beautiful picture kicks major ass and it one of their coolest. I never listen to cherry though i find it not to my liking.

Cherry will grow on you if you listen to it enough times.

But I only needed to listen to Beautiful Picture once and I think it is one of the most amazing songs ever. Cherry is a cool song of course and I've listened to it plenty of times, but if my Ipod starts getting too full and I need to get rid of some songs then Im afraid its no Cherry for me.
Besides I don't really like cherrys anyway.

But there are many songs by them that I used to not like or listen to, but by looking at what some people on here have said over time, or looking at the lyrics, or just listening to the songs more, I have really come to appreciate every song in its own way.

Sorry for double posting, but that last one was way off-topic, and I'm getting back on topic now.

I don't know exactly why I don't like Beautiful Picture, but I think it's because I listened to Ressa Hamusutaa no Yuutsu first, and the two sound almost identical, so when I listened to Beautiful Picture, it's just like Ressa Hamusutaa, but slower and it annoys me how long it takes to get that song started, especially since Ressa Hamusutaa has a much faster tempo.

The tempo is a lot faster than it seems.


EDIT: Well guys, I remember when I first listened to Cherry I thought it was too noisy and was just okay, but after a few listens it grew on me solidly. I wouldn't know where to rank it precisely, but it'd definitely be in my top 20 for 'em.

I don't understand how people find two songs that are so dissimilar in melody, lead guitar, and ENTIRE FEEL/EMOTION so damn similar-sounding.

It's not like I dislike Beautiful Picture, it's just a bit too slow for me. It's almost forty seconds to get to the lyrics, and even then it's got one of the most generic beats to listen to which makes it get old even faster for me.

The real saving grace of BP is the bassline (of course) and when Sawao starts going, "Aaaaaaaaa kimi to... Boooooooooooooooku.... etc."

And yes, I'm very familiar with both songs, and they don't sound very similar at all, except that they both use an acoustic guitar.

I'm not referring to both acoustics sounding similar, I'm talking about the melody of the acoustic in BP sounds like the lead guitar in RHnY. Especially in the beginning of both songs.

Which is exactly what I'm disagreeing with.

Anyway, whatever. I just don't get why most of you guys seem to find things to be so similar when they're not.

Some people are good at making connections...

Anyways, I still think Beautiful Picture is one of their best songs. The bass in it, just makes it so much better. Cherry is still good though. After a few listens, its sounding better and better.
