Is it me, or are they going back to the more grungy stuff that made RUNNERS HIGH so great? :3 Also, some of the songs even have a punky sound to it, and Propose sounds great in it's self. I love it.

Did BOAT HOUSE remind anyone else of Patricia? It has that same...carefree, riding-in-the-bed-of-a-pickup-truck-in-the-summer-with-friends vibe. It's a little kicked up, and the vocals are definitely more powerful, but still. I like it a lot.

Yup, BOAT HOUSE sounds a lot like PATRCIA... I thought I was the only one who heard the similarity.

One of the songs did have a Runners High quality to it. I like that all the songs have a new sound to them but they seem to include that classic pillows sound as well. I can't wait!

I'm pretty sure I love BOAT HOUSE.
I think this album will put an end to the supposed "off" streak that the Pillows had.
Wake Up! Wake Up! Wake Up!: バンドスコア [bandscore] 05/30 ¥2,730
So I guess we can probably count on bandscores for all their new material.
...and stay content with the few older songs from the Best Collection to represent their entire past discography *sigh*

i was under the impression that the band scores were pretty inaccurate. why? well, 1: people are still tabbing songs from the scores
and 2: someone made a guitar pro file of gazelle city from the score that i thought was pretty bad (guitar-wise).
do you really think the pillows themselves actually tabbed anything? i don't.

Actually, the band scores are damned accurate, and it seems more like the Guitar Pro maker sucked.

Uhh...what constitutes "damned accurate"? We're talking about official pillows merch here. The official word on how to play their songs. It should be perfect.
Having errors in the Funny Bunny and Sono Mirai wa Ima riffs is...pretty inexcusable.

crap, I didn't know they had errors at all, let alone something like that - and that is freaking ridiculous.

This "Gazelle City" tab should be damn near immaculate. How does it compare to the band score?

Off by a bit, take a more careful listen to the guitar riffs on the main line, that's all I listened to because I'm in a rush, but you're not quite right there. And by "damned accurate" I meant perfect as according to the studio versions of the songs.

Right. And by those qualifications, Funny Bunny and Sono Mirai wa Ima are not "damned accurate".
