I forgot to mention the cool little details of the concert like when Sawao played a little of "Smells like Teen Spirit" when setting up, the part when Sawao started playing "Kim Deal" and the audience was singing and he stopped and laughed, and when Manabe played some of the American Anthem. BTW, is it me or does Sato always look like he's stoned/shitfaced nowadays? Even Jun looked better than him...

Jun looks awesome and is awesome in real life.
Sato is even better in his older age.
Sawao played some nirvana at Pianos too.

I like to think of some of the things he said like they were threats because they were funnier that way. Actually he began and ended the concert with threats.
"WE..ARE..THE PILLOWS! OKAY??!?"
"I'LL BE BACK, NEW YORK!!!"
Such an angry, angry man!

The one thing giving it away is the far back Jun's foot is like 5 inches off the ground on top of that pole thingy.
Almost had me for a second.
Edit: And the lighting and what not is a little off on the first Jun. It doesn't look consistant.
Another edit: And those 3 metal poles in front of them gave it away too quick. Might want to clone stamp them away or healing brush... that is if your even using Photoshop.
But thats my opinion.

The first 20 seconds that I walk in, there was Sawao at the bar. I got him to autograph my Little Busters booklet. I also gave him my article that I wrote about them. When I told him that the article was about how the Pillows are the best band since the Beatles, he smiled. My dad asked Sawao if this was his first time here; and he said "Here until 29th." So apparently, he's still working on his Engrish; but his handwriting is pretty good. A Noodles was also backstage; but sadly, I didn't have anything for them to autograph.
I've seen some of the coolest bands on the planet; including Roger Waters, Korn, the White Stripes, Kiss, Ted Nugent, Alice Cooper, Aerosmith, and Metallica. But the 45 minutes that the Pillows performed was single-handedly the greatest concert I've ever been to. They're very personable, funny on stage (Sawao's impersonation of the Statue of Liberty made my sides ache), and played a great set. When Sawao dove into the crowd during Sleepy Head, I knew that the Pillows would fit in with all the English bands. I even took part in my first mosh pit during Advice. I shook Manabe's hand with about 10 other patrons at the same time; and I patted Sawao on the back when he stage dived at the end. Sawao also said that they would be back again; so could a summer tour be in the works?
Also, Manabe didn't flip off the audience. He flashed a peace sign.
I was the guy who shouted "rock and roll" before Noodles began. I was wearing the Walking on the Spiral shirt over a red longsleeved t-shirt.
EVERYBODY DO CRAZY DANCE!
Who bought all of Noodles' CDs after their set? I did. I wouldn't have; but Ayumi asked me (i.e. us) nicely. Turns out, their latest CD Ivy won't hit Japanese stores until April 13; so we got it first .
PS: DADDY SUCKS. THEY WERE SOOO WRONG FOR THIS CONCERT!
