Sounds like a Japanese Colin Hay to me.

Listening to that cover makes me wonder how an acoustic version of Scarecrow would sound. That would have been an awesome B-side.

scarecrow was number 7 on the oricon daily singles chart the day of release. the following days it bumped down to 10, then 12, then 14, then down to 19. That's where it's at for now. So pretty good, especially for them.

whats the oricon dail singles chart? Is that like a billboard top 100 ? or an indie tops list? By the way I always forget to ask are the pillows on an independent or major label? Im just curious as to how big in japan they really are.

they WERE on a major label, they moved to a very large independent label. Their popularity in Japan is decent, their shows sell well.
oricon is a japanese music charts thing.

Wow, that is pretty awesome. I remember The Third Eye debuting somewhere around #12 perhaps? Either way, good to see they opened in the top 10, and stuck around in the top 20 for a few days

I'm still waiting on mine. 3-5 day shipping, and I "pre-ordered" it the day before it came out. Which would technically be the day it came out (in Japan). When I pre-ordered The Third Eye and Nonfiction, I got posters. It probably differs in each case. Maybe you have to get lucky. Maybe you have to pre-order. Maybe Scarecrow doesn't even have a poster. We'll see in a few days time.

Oh yea, I forgot to mention: CDJapan gives you nothing. Zip. Nada. Squat. So yea, don't pre-order from there unless you don't care if you get one of those mini claendars or whatever.
