And you'd also think after they let him in the THR video, they'd actually give him full member status. I can understand the whole respect thing to Kenji with him being the first bassist, but damn, when a guy's been with you for over 8 years and spanning 7 albums, show [i]him[/i] some respect where it's due. He should have been made a full member.

Yeah, it does seem a bit unfair, but I'd be more inclined to think that Jun wants to move on to other things. He got to do much more impressive bass work with the chewinggum weekend than he has done with the pillows, and fragments was some really cool stuff, he has a great voice.

the terminal heaven's rock pv was sort of a fluke. i think that somebody speculated it was only because the bassline was so important for the intro of the song. that certainly seems to make sense to me, since he hasn't been in any of the pvs before or since.

I never thought about that before, the reason for the video that is. I guess it makes sense though.

And even though he may want to move on to bigger and better things, I can't help but think maybe he'd want to stick around if he had been made a full member. I don't know though, so I can only speculate. But if he wants to move on himself, so be it

How would you guys feel if you were... say, on a professional baseball team, but whenever your team toured around, you were shut in a closet so as to stay off the radar? Everyone would fellate the other team members, and you would just kinda... be there.

the blog is not the bassist's blog, it's the other jun suzuki. at the top of all his blogs it says 'ベースはひけないけどね' = i can't play bass. the file path should have been a hint too ('no-bass_jun').

Yea, I figured it probably was an April Fool's joke, so you got me again. But the main reason I even jumped into the topic was my thinking about why [i]can't[/i] he be made a full member? Like I said, he's been around even more albums than Kashima now, I just feel bad he doesn't have the full status

I can't believe that even after we admitted the first thread was an April Fool's day thread, so many people still continued to fall for this one.

This one was better-executed. Some of those statements were PERFECT for this (from the blog), and most people didn't know it was the producer as opposed to the bassist. Also, having ureshii post it was a great idea, as he's usually super serious.

Kashima was referred to as guest musician as well. The only bassist recognized as a member of the band was Kenji.

i know kashima was a guest musician as well, my point was that he was there for a long while too, so jun leaving after such a stretch wasn't a totally outrageous idea. the point with the guest bassist was referring to the post that said he thought maybe jun would become a full member lol.
