Currently reading Catch-22, slowly. I should get some more of that done this weekend. It's quite good so far, and I just bought three more books, though one of them I've already read and just wanted to own because it was so good (The Kite Runner). The other two are The God Delusion and Three Cups of Tea, both of which just sounded interesting to me, so I got them. I don't do enough reading nowadays.
I really need to finish Catch-22 sometime. The God Delusion is good, too.

Currently reading: Memoirs of Lady Hyegyon. Yay Korea?

are you really gonna sypathize with satan?
Considering that I consider Satan to be an imaginary being...

Yeah, why not?
haha well as a literary and historical figure that is. common knowledge = satan is evil.

there are somethings you can deviate from and be able to call yourself a boundry breaker, but when you decide to say satan is worthy of sympathy when the idea that satan is evil has been institutionalized for thousands of years.....im ready to believe that no one should sypathize for satan.

both are dealing with things that are unknown, so i wouldn't go into looking for one that "tells it like it is."

Yeah. I agree.

But hey, Satan is pretty cool. The Devil had a pretty good sense of humor in the Exorcist.

The Bible was just a smear campaign by God against Satan for the Presidential elections in heaven.

Turns out it'll be another 4 aeons before we can have gay marriage.

Hey, I checked out Paradise Lost today, but I haven't read much of it. It's hilarious because on some pages, like half of the page is covered with subnotes explaining wtf Milton is talking about.

I'll definitely be reading this at my track meet tomorrow. Err, later this morning*.

Whoa, I thought you fell off the face of the planet. Anyway, Paradise Lost is pretty cool, even if it is using older English. It's not too difficult really, it's just the Biblical references that'll get ya.

And to whoever said that Paradise Lost is supposed to make people sympathize with the devil... It's actually portraying Lucifer/Satan as a hero in the beginning, but he is in fact the main antagonist. The whole book is to show irony on what we as people hold dear. Satan is a military commander who will not yield against an overwhelming force, and we as people admire such qualities.

Also: I'm supposed to start reading Lord of the Flies for AP English. :|
