 The quest for the holy Wii Now, I was originally turned off by Nintendo's "last stand" that is the wii, but after seeing it multiple times at Wal-Mart and looking at Xbox 360 and PS3's prices, I figured I'd buy the console seeing as my gamecube broke.
I get the $250 and head to Wal-mart, now they have no Wii's left.
I went to Best Buy, Target, etc. and still couldn't find any.
I'm not sure if it's supposed to be limited for sales reason's or if Nintendo is trying to make the Wii some sort of quest to find.
I really don't feel like waking up early to stand in line for a Wii.
Is it even worth the hassle, or should I get a 360?

If you're more of a solo/online gamer, then go for the 360.
But if you're into really great multiplayer games with friends, then go for the Wii.
The Wii wins automatically in my book, cause of..well...SUPER SMASH BROTHERS BRAWL.

the 360 feels like it's trying to be a PC.
the wii is still a social gaming piece.. and there's the whole thing where it can play gamecube games.. yeah you should get a wii.

The Wii and 360 are the best consoles for this generation. You have more of a chance for the 360 however. But if you're willing to lose your sanity to find the Wii well good fucking luck.
The 360 has been/will be hauling a helluva lot of good games this year. There was Gears of War, Mercenaries 2, Halo 3(expect delays), and some other stuff. At the moment, the only good game I heard for the Wii is Smash Bros. Brawl but there may be new updates(I have yet to hear any.).
Let's see 360 seems to be good. The Wii has yet to really astound me.

I say wait a year, emu shit and then pick the system with the best games.
Emu shit = just as good as Wii backwards compatability, barring GC games.

360=Online gaming, FPS's, insanely good graphics.
Wii=Pretty much everything else. Oh and also, its amazing games.
I say just call places and ask when they're getting them in. They're getting large shipments now(when I stood in line with my friends, there were 92), so you don't have to wait in line, just go when the store opens. Luckily, my mom and my sister bought me a Wii while shopping, and found it at random.

Brawl, Super Mario Galaxy, SM Strikers: Charged!, Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, No More Heroes, Heatseeker, Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles, Super Paper Mario, Battalion Wars 2, Disaster: Day Of Crisis, Project Hammer, Big Brain Academy, Mario Party 8, Kirby, Bomberman Land (please don't muck it up, Hudson Soft.) Pokemon Battle Revolution, (not a pokemon fan, but I know some of you guys are.) and possibly some others, you know, the kitschier stuff that may turn out good like Brunswick Pro Bowling, Alien Syndrome, etc.
That should tide everyone over until Totally Spies! comes out next year.
