The live vocals are worse than the recordings,sorry guys. 
although they were great in 96-97(haven't watched any lives before that).

The live vocals have more emotion than the studio recording much of the time, though they're obviously not as clear or as "nice"-sounding.

I agree with the part "they have more emotion" and I'm not talking about how clear they are,his voice in recent lives is shakey and [size=59]annoying[/size].
His voice used to be unique when he was young but not anymore I guess.

Moon Marguerite  my favorite song when I heard Penalty life way back in the day, still a good song in my books.
But Lonsome Diamond, one of the most underrated songs ever in my books.

Penalty Life has some pretty damn good songs. The problem is that the ones that aren't good are much worse than what we were used to at the time.
