i really dig the lyrics. although the sound of the song doesnt sound like anything new....i can respect that and turn the cheek for the lyrics.
the pillows = lyrically amazing.
i dont think that i've heard any other band with such unique lyrics.

Honestly, I'm still missing out entirely on this song sounding anything like One Life, I haven't noticed a similarity at all. I still contend though that the opening sounds a lot like Weezer's Love Explosion, just in a much slower tempo

I know it's his second language, but the part of the song that bothers me is the engrish "scarecrowaw". Maybe it just gives the song more style.

I think it's adorable*. And no, I'm not being all lovely on Sawao -- I just happen to find his Engrish really charming.
