In my Japanese class, we have to do a final project in lieu of a comprehensive final. My group decided we'd do a skit that takes on the form of a Japanese TV talk show, with myself and another person acting as musical guests. Each of us is writing a song. This is mine.
For those of you who understand all of it, write your own song in Japanese before criticizing my lyrics.
For those of you who say I can't sing, well...you're right.

I've heard worse singing. I like the lyrics, actually. Nice. This is staying on my hard drive lol. I've halfway written a song in Japanese, but haven't had any time for songwriting lately.

so for this cyberart class i had to make a website. so i made a website for my band. what do you guys think?
i've been thinking this a while... you guys really need to change your name.
anyway, first time hearing your band. pretty good. although the drums, if they were mixed to the left on purpose, should've been mixed to the center. also i thought that was a guy singing before i saw the photos. haha
sorry it took so long to respond but none of those recordings were mixed... they only exist because we were using a substitute drummer who wanted to have recordings to listen to. we did it with two pzms taped to the ceiling and recorded through audacity (this explains the skips).
marlee's voice is nice like that... it means that what i write, which is more for a man's range, she can sing.

That got almost painful to listen to at the end. I'll compare it to nails on a chalkboard. I'm talking about the recording quality, by the way, and not the song itself. I understand it wasn't a complicated setup, but if you listen to it, I think you'll agree.

A blues i recorded with a fake rythm section. I had the volume set too high or something so the mic peaks every once in a while. Hope you enjoy. And let me know what you think. Thanks.

Cool. I don't really care for blues or jazz too much, but it sure is nice to listen to every once in a while, and your guitaring is quality work.

how do you guys feel about something closer to folk?
http://rarefytheband.googlepages.com/codylol.mp3
i just bought a four track and thought i'd test it out with one of my favorite songs that i've written (also probably the easiest ).
anyways, here's what my "studio" consisted of: lol.jpg. please excuse the stupid angle, i just wanted to get everything in one frame. also excuse all the screwups. especially in the solo... i'm very new to the world of lead guitar.
