I can't stand it when I am driving and look over and see a bloody teenage girl or soccer mom yapping on her cell phone while sipping on a Starbucks and doing her makeup in her big SUV that can carry 9 people (comfortably) but there's no passengers.
So many things are wrong with our culture today. It's cool to appear "busy" and "connected." I've even caught a kid at school pretending to be talking on the phone when in reality there was no one there. That and the whole "G-unit" image that our suburban white kids take on these days in sickening. They look like shit with their buzzed hair and massive football jerseys and gym shorts / basketball shoes and some just don't give a crap about school. (it seems ignorance is celebrated these days and so is treating girls like shit) And I wish the girls would stop piling on the makeup and dying their hair in an attempt to look like Britney Spears. There are so many pretty girls that completely ruin it by piling on too much makeup
sorry

Bloody? You haven't gone British on us, have you?
Anyway, I used to take exception to pretty much everything about our culture. However, it's pretty much always been the same, but in different forms. I found there's no use complaining about it, really. Especially because this is what these people want to do. No one person's views should be imposed on another's. So if one is part of the minority, he should simply find people he can relate to, instead of trying to change everyone to his way of thinking.
On-topic: That mobile17 site failed hard for me. I tried to upload a MIDI sequence from GP5, and when I got it, it was pure silence. Not only that, but I had to wait 250+ minutes to get it sent in the first place.

amen. most girls look better with very little makeup as opposed to a lot. some of them don't get it, but fortunately many do.

From GP5? That may have been your problem.
Yeah, this has worked many many times in the past for me. It's the reason why my current ringtone is the first two chords in Num-Ami-Dabutz, the bit right before Tabuchi cuts in.
But I have my phone on vibrate when I'm not at home, cause, well...ring tones pretty much suck in general. They should only be used when you're in your home, and your cell phone is out of your pocket.

A MIDI file is a MIDI file. And that is that. I even downloaded other ones, and they did not work. It is probably my phone.
