1)School Girl Distortional Addict-Touch, Nichijou ni ikiru shoujo, Toumei Shoujo, Hadashi No Kisetsu, Everything is perfect.
2)School Girl Bye Bye-Sentimental Kajou, Omoide in my Head, September Girlfriend, everything is still perfect.
3)Sappukei-Amazing yes, but, Zegen Vs. Undercover PV version is my favorite Number Girl song so that would have made things different. Sasu-Yu, Tattoo Ari, all around amazing. Just not perfect.
4)Num-Heavymetallic- Cibicco San and Manga Sick are the only two songs that really love. Num-Ami-Dabutz is way better live, Tombo is really good. Other than that this album is just good. Not perfect.

Yo tengo una pregunta.
Is there a studio version of Zazenbeats Kemonostyle?
That 10 minute beast is one of their best songs. I have 3 live versions of it, but I haven't seen a studio version on any of the compilations. I did hear it was on a movie soundtrack though
The version on Omoide In My Head 4 is studio. I love that song.
Haha, thanks for clearing that up. It appears that and one other song got left out when I downloaded the album. How annoying is that?
To slsk I go...
ps: I'm buying OMOIDE 3, so don't tell me to go buy it

1. Num-Heavymetallic. In my opinion, not a very accessible album, but after listening to it really hard, I recognized how good it was. Each track is great, an honor that only a few albums (PML, White Incarnation, Little Busters) have gotten from me.
2. Sappukei. I had a *lot* of trouble getting into this one, but it was quite worth it. Love it, love it. Wish Zegen was the same as the PV version... the chorus effect added to the lead guitar makes the song much more haunting, I think. While NHM has a very heavy, noise/old-school alternative sound that seems more Sonic Youth-esque than any influences I know of, Sappukei sounds very abstract and ethereal. Very distinctive.
3. School Girl Bye Bye. Great, consistent album, but a few tracks don't stand out as much to me. But Omoide In My Head, Iggy Pop Fan Club, Mini Grammar, and the very underrated Ware Kiritsu Yuiga Hitori make this album a winner.
4. School Girl Distortional Addict. I'm still trying to get into this one, but it's been tough. Touch, Toumei Shoujo, and Nichijou ni Sei Kiru Otome are the only tracks that really stand out... so far. I need to listen to this one more.

i just ordered both Omoide in My Head 2 discs (the ones with the DVDs in 'em) from HMV. It was a choice between those two CDs with live concerts in them or getting one of the DVDs...CD+concert won out.

my mom's thinking about getting me a digital camera. if so, i'll get a picture of the posters. they're awesome. guys, this is seriously one worth buying. the sound quality for the cds is amazing, and it's LIVE, which makes it that much more amazing (most lives for most groups have horrible sound quality or balancing...)
plus you can really see how they develop over time, as the cds are a chronological set of exceptional concert performances from 98 to 2002.

Listening to Omoide 4. Amazing stuff. It's almost like a long lost NUMBER GIRL album.
Oh yeah, and Tatoo Ari is best listened to when your volume is set to 11 and equalizer is at full treble, especially towards the end.
-> -> -> -> Reincarnation

Go to www.japantimes.co.jp , and search for "mukai shutoku". There are several very interesting articles on Number Girl and Zazen Boys. It's probably gonna ask for registration, so go to www.bugmenot.com first.
