[u]One of the best[/u] Final Fantasy ever.

Having said that me and mah friend Draper, we put together this list of the best Modern FF games:

1 - Final Fantasy XII,Final Fantasy IX, Final Fantasy VII,Final Fantasy VI, Final Fantasy VIII, Final Fantasy Tactics (tied)
2 - Final Fantasy X
3 - Final Fantasy XI
4 - Final Fantasy X-2

X-2 is in last cause its a peice of shit. 6-9 and tactics and XII are tied for 1st cause they all are god-like. X is in 2nd because it sucks ass, but it has Wakka so you gotta give it some credit. Last but 2nd to least, XI just sucks in general because its an MMORPG from which i have retired from.

Talk about FF12, make up your own lists, ect.

The best Final Fantasy imo is VII,I really really enjoyed that game.

and XII I don't know but I didn't like it that much the new system is boring I only played for three hours though I guess I can't judge it.

I kind of like FFVIII for the PC, but that's the only one I've played.

Why isn't Tactics in the poll?

Well, besides Tactics, I really liked VIII, so I'm going to have to go with that.

And, XII's new battle system slightly annoys me, but the storyline annoys me even more. I love Ivalice, but all this political nonsense that I've run into so far is really ruining it for me.

yeah VIII is great I liked the GF system in that game.

I just noticed that FF X-2 is included in the poll and Tactics isn't, wtf?

no, more like why the hell is X-2 AND XI on there, but not tactics? XI doesn't even count all that much, most people probably don't have it, being deterred by the mentioning of monthly rates... (though i may be going out on a limb there)

I'd like FF11 if it weren't for like.. not getting XP from doing missions. Which is highly gay. It's like what's the point. Honestly. I just got the game 3 weeks ago, and I only really played the first week. I've been too busy with school, so all I have is a level 10 MNK, and a level 6 WHM.

Velius was awesome, if you weren't strong enough to beat him, it was really tough luck, since you couldn't return to the fields once you were locked into that battle series. If all the bosses after Velius (Marquis Elmdor and assassins aside, especially if you wanted to steal all of his Genji Armor) weren't such enormous pussies, then FFT would have been perfect. It's awesome as is, but that was seriously weak of them to make them so pathetic after they transform with the Zodiac Stones. Also, VI's ending was kinda lame, all they did was walk out of the castle while the spinning coin graphic demos all the characters. If they had made Kefka tougher, and had some crazy escape-the-castle-because-it's-crumbling scenario + party disbands and tries to find a new life in the new world type of ending, then it would have been acceptable.

I'll take down the second link if it's not acceptable in this section of the forums, but I don't think it's a problem.

I'm ashamed to say that I've only ever played 9 and X and barely remember either of them. However, I am looking forward to the remake of FFVII and I really liked the Advent Children movie.

I thought the remake was just a rumor?

they probably would not have made that impressive ps3 vid if it was just a rumor. my friend dalin has been tracking this thing for a few years, and he says that they're actually going to go through with it, but i'm not sure where he's been getting his information.
