i dunno, but compared to some of the other japanese rock bands, the pillows are just on another level. i dont like mr children OR ellegarden

considering how relatively unknown the Pillows are in Japan they should perform with indie bands like bazra, eastern youth HEHE...that would be a very interesting concert...the pillows had some hardcore songs...and Living Field is practically all blues..
btw Eastern Youth's 365 Step Blues is an awesome album, Reddend back and It snows on the tilted roofs are amazing songs...

they're cool, they just aren't a very good band. i do, however, like a lot of their songs, salamander being one of them. the pv sucked ass though.

Let's keep the Ellegarden salad tossing in the Music section, kids.
Besides, this little "tour" is over now, and it wasn't a big deal.
They have another show tomorrow though and then one on November 1st, then they take a break before the LOSTMAN GO TO CITY tour in December.
Hopefully we will get a single during that break.

I can actually answer this one. It is really up in the air right now, but there will be an album next year, Sawao said so in an interview with AnimeNation.
Seeing as they are taking a break from touring in November to record Scarecrow and nothing has been announced yet, I would guess that a single can be expected mid-January. When the album is released depends on how many singles they put out leading up to it. If it's 2, don't expect an album until at least April.
I'm getting anxious too, but let's all hope they are taking their time and making some quality stuff.

Seriously, they need to take the time to make something good. They can't pop out an album a year with the same extraordinary quality they did in the mid-late 90's.
It would also help if Sawao had the mindset, "let's make something that will blow their socks off" instead of "let's have fun." And also if he ditched that stupid Cyclone for a Telecaster. Manabe too.
