we need more donations. what happened to all the people that said they would donate? HRMM?
if this thing is actually going to happen, perhaps we can make a new thread and sticky it?

i already mentioned that it might be a minute for me, but i'll donate as soon as possible, as much as possible. You guys have my word. And there aren't many people who said they would donate in the first place, only about six or seven of us. So it might take a couple of weeks or more to get over 400 dollars donated.

even just the money for the guitar would be quite an accomplishment. donate, people. even 10 bucks is a big help. and we know you have ten bucks.

I'm not planning on trying to get everything at once, that's a lot of money. buying the guitar first seems like a more realistic plan. but yeah, 7 or 8 people is enough to collect the other $100 or so needed towards the guitar.

just an update: no one besides marekenshin and I have donated so far. we need about $100 more if keitaro will contribute $100 of his own. I don't want to pressure anyone into donating, but if you're eventually going to donate then do it sooner than later. I'd feel uneasy holding other peoples money if we never actually accumulate enough to buy the guitar.
for anyone who is put off by having to sign up for a paypal account to donate... you don't have to. the donation account can accept donations straight from credit cards and what not.

The only way for me is to send the money direct or to some else who can do it.

shit.
is all i have to say
i was prepared to give some good news and incentivate people over here, but shit happened
i couln't post these days because my machine suffered upgrades, my motherboard was the worst one. my brother bought new motherboard, processor, RAM and Video Card. i had about R$ 500,00 and now i have R$ 100. yesterday my mother discussed with my father and he decided he won't give me money anymore, so i'll recieve R$ 50,00 a month, that's about U$ 23,00. i knew from the begining i'd had to burn this money in the pc, but i thought my parents would colaborate with the guitar. well the situation is far from that, i'm now in an bad economic phase.
yeah, i'm afraid i won't be able to deposit really soon. hope you're not like me.

Wooooow...How much have you guys saved up? If it's more than $100, I could possibly sell my squire. Eh?

mare was the only one who actually donated. it didn't look like anyone else was going to, so I just gave back mare's donation.

today i wished so much i had an electric one. i looked up for prices, and i'm really thinking on going serious on it this time.
but before, i'd like to know if this topic is still remembered by anyone.

i had to save up for a half a year to get my telecaster, and it was every bit worth it.

If possible, you can probably get a guitar and pay in monthly payments. Depending on the store of course. I have a Guitar Center a couple of miles from my house, so I've been tempted to buy a new guitar, but I'm terrible at it, so I haven't. But payments would probably be like US$30-US$50 a month for a pretty good guitar.
