Post tour kick-off!
thought i'd share the message i got this morning:
"Hi! How's everyone? We are finally ready for the US tour!
The date is from March 17th till 27th.
Comparing to Japan, it is so big there and I have no idea if you live close
enough to the places where we play but will surelly be looking forward to
seeing you all at the live! And the band noodles which will be also touring
with us is a girls band that I produce and they are very wonderful, both
their lives and the cds. We will surely have fantastic nights.
See you all at our first tour in US!"
I found that in my in box this morning also.

I can honestly say I have never met a bigger bunch of babies than I have on some of the pillows message boards, present company excluded of course. Everyone whining, "They aren't coming to my state! or 'What! The show isn't all ages?" Or the worst thing "pweeeeze come to ___ I luv you guys!" The official site is full of stuff like this.

Let us all just wish them luck and hope this tour is a great success instead of complaining. If this tour goes well, they very well could come back. And if they don't, I hope they have a great time here anyway.

I agree. They're just jealous that we're going and they're not! :P

Also, I hope they record their shows for a U.S. tour DVD (you know, like what L'arc~en~ciel did).

you read my mind, mellie. :x

that they are coming here at all is amazing. they're doing a lot to come over here and see us (in a manner of speaking), so there's nothing left to do but show the love. <3

and if i were nineteen or so, and the only show i could go to was 21+... i'd find a way.

I agree, they are doing alot to come here and play shows for only 8 bucks. Hell, the show at pianos is 5 bucks. It's amazing enough they're coming here, but at such a low cost, i was surprised. The T-shirts cost more than the tickets.

I figured I couldn't be the only one thinking that. 8) It's pretty ridiculous.
The T-shirts cost more than the tickets.
When bands play a shed (club), that's not at all unusual.

EDIT: Pianos in NY is apparently set up with all kinds of nifty recording equipment. Let us hope that's partailly why they are playing there.

It's not low-cost for everyone. Anybody who goes to see them at ACen has to buy a $40 badge, regardless of if they're doing anything else at the convention or are there just to see The Pillows.

Joyuese, if I see them it will also be at ACen. Not my first choice of a place to see them but I'm not going to complain. 40 bucks is well worth it.

>>>Marekenshin. It's one thing to say "I wish I could go, oh well, I'll see them next time."

It's quite another to piss and moan and get on the official site and say "Why don't you guys just come to Canada, jeeze it's not like it's that far away" or "Don't you guys know that most of your fans are under 21???? "why are your shows 21+!???.

I say, if it's not that far from Cananda then haul your ass down here and see them.

I agree with Mellie and Terra all the way. If you don't get a chance to see them oh well. I'm sure more then likely if they get alot of fans they'll come back sometime later in life no biggie. Take me for example I'm not going to see them at all. (Even though it's only 3hrs away.) But, you don't see me whinning about it. I could see them when I go to Japan in a few years or so... so that's my oppion.

P.S.: I wonder if people are ever going to stop sending their information at The Pillows BBS and actually have a different topic.....

stupid time zones. its tuesday already in japan. going on to wednesday. anyways...the band is either in texas already or they will be arriving tomarrow. they have the opening ceremonial dinner to attend.

its obvious that sawao, manabe and jun (if he came) brought their instruments. i wonder if shin-chan brought his favorite snare? i wonder if they brought their own amps? we need our orange love! :D

Anger rises from deep within me. Someone should make Noodles open for the Pillows at ACEN. Seriously.
