That fucking sucks.
He quit five days before the release of the new album, too..

Drummers are replaceable, except for people like SHINICHIRO SATO.

He feels as if he is lacking in his own abilities? That sounds like something some one on Soul Seek made up. Since we all tend to be cocks on there anyway.
Seriously though, sucks about it. He knew how to get it right with this band and thus, got the job done.
Of course, he's not:

Still impressive, despite the terrible quality. Amazing song, amazing drummer.
Oh, wait, what were we talking about?

Anybody heard the new album yet? I like it. It's a lot easier to get into than Dreamer was. But, I don't think it's as good.

After watching that why would I ever download III?

Yeah, it's kinda too happy or something. Actually I mean it's almost produced too well, in comparison to their catalog of music thus far. Part of their charm was the semi lo-fi production of the albums, which is why this new one stands out. I mean, everything sounds great, I'm still getting chills when I hear the first cutting notes of Baka Yarou, fucking great sound. And then the bass on track 2, sounds nothing like any Sparta Locals I've ever heard. If I didn't know better, I'd say their website was wrong about the drummer leaving, and it was actually the bassist getting replaced, cause he sounds alot different on this album. But yeah, also the drums are way more bright and loud sounding.
So yeah, a little bit of mixed feelings becaues of all the differences between this and Dreamer, which was a pretty low-key album overall. But I could tell from their new promo photos alone that this album would sound differently. I like SANKU a lot though, and Heart is pretty sweet as well.

I dunno... the album is a little better than what I expected, but I still don't think it's that good. The verses in Heart are cool, but the chorus is just .

not going to spend time reading the whole thing, but the note does say 'i've lost confidence in my drum-playing'.
