OMG!! 9:18 on Epsiode 23!!! they have Rookie Jet! (ew.. they have some weird looking guy for sawao (lead vocalist)..) exciting!! pillows on some other anime!!!

WTF man, that band could not be LESS the pillows if they were chicks! The lead singer is like gaijin with light hair and wearing a dress shirt and tie?!? And the drummer's all messed up too, and I don't even know who that guy on the right is..a keyboard?? ... man if they were gonna use Rookie Jet they coulda at least had the band bear some slight resemblance to the pillows! Well, apparently in the upcoming ep where Sawao actually talks the character's supposed to resemble him a bit (so they said), but I am disappointed by this... But then again, it's an appearance in Beck I didn't expect, so I guess it's not a bad thing!  And they played the song for a decent length of time, so maybe some new people will hear of them in Japan. It's so nice to see their name in the credits.

I read that Beck will soon be available here in America sometime this fall. I think Funimation is releasing it. I hope that they don't "Americanize" the songs and just leave it be (i.e: don't replace Rookie Jet with a crappy song wriiten in just two bloody minutes).
