They should('ve) played this setlist. If they did, I would have flown to New York for this show. Colorful Pumpkin Fields Razorlike Blue Never Find Pari no Josei Marie Swinger's Night Club Kouen~ Koukan no Warutsu The Killing Field Happy Slave Ame ni Utaeba Sariban ni Naritai Cherry Tonight Energy (Encore I) Bokura no Harei Suisei Encore II) Beautiful Picture It could have been the best show ever. If only they didn't act like the old stuff didn't exist.
Yeah, too bad that'll never happen . . . I think ENERGY live would be great—Energy! ENERGY!! Energy! ENERGY!! And ooh, ending on Beautiful Picture . . .

I am thoroughly convinced that Sawao was afraid of me.

I was happy with the song lineup this year. Last year they played all FLCL songs sans for Swanky Street (Not a single Penalty Life song!). I hadn't heard anything from My Foot before the concert, so it was nice.
Was up near the front, enjoyed the crowd, but it was even crazier last year. Instead of just the swaying and pushing forward, it was a full on mosh pit last year at points (especially when they came on for their encore of Advice). The only time it ever calmed down was for One Life.
All in all I'd say last year's was better than this year's... and I say that without taking into consideration I was able to find myself on the Delicious Bump tour DVD. But I got my copy of Fool on the Planet signed this year, so it evens out.
For anyone who was there this year, I was the guy in the white "Mongolian Chop Squad" t-shirt.

Holy crap. I think I saw you too in that immense line outside before the show. I remember pointing out your shirt to a friend of mine, because we both are big fans of BECK: Mongolian Chop Squad.

I saw a lot of people from instant music, but never introduced myself. I was the kid with the curly brown hair + diggnation shirt.

Heh. I'll take the Swanky Street anyday over no Penalty Life<G> But Freebee Honey would've been alright. I Know You too.
